Yes for your information I am a Habs fan. Boston played a good series against Montreal but got a lucky overtime winner off Jeff Halpern's skate in game 7 to win. Apart from that they deserved the Cup, they played some good solid hockey and outplayed their opponents especially the Flyers and Canucks. I don't really care about Boston' win.

@aspire9000 Montreal/Toronto was the biggest rivalry in the NHL for decades until Bobby Orr came along, & Toronto out of the division. Boston and Montreal still played 8 times a year plus playoffs, so the B's/Habs rivalry flourished, while Toronto moved into a division with Chicago, St. Louis and Detroit, so Habs/Leafs cooled down. Toronto/Montreal is still a rivalry because of nationalism, & they have the most cups. Boston used to have Hartford as a smaller rival, but they moved to Carolina.
