  • man you could sell that for so much money lol, your site is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can i use this with my casio keyboard?if i can ,than how?

  • @ponyrider32ml You could put the output of the Casio through the VCF(s) and VCA(s) for some fun effects. By controlling the VCF(s) and VCA(s) with some of the other modules LFO(s) and AR(s) you could modify the Casio's signal. But as I explain don't expect it to sound like a Moog. These are simple circuits perfect for sound experimentation and learning more about synths.

  • This is fantastic, just the sort of thing i'd like to build now i'm getting a little deeper into synth diy. Could you, in theory, use a 'proper' 1v/oct oscillator with all the other modules on this board to build a keyboard playable synth? Also, are PCB's being made available or is it too soon?

  • @ChrisLody You could use a 1V/Oct oscillator with this as long as you used a good stable power supply and you could make some cool sounds and music. However all of the modules are simple designs and meant for sound effects. I try to never oversell the products I provide. The filters are of the simplest design and while appropriate for sound effects they do not track 1V/Oct. I enjoyed using these circuits in my early Synth DIY efforts and they kept me moving forward.

  • @theraywilsonshow I guess its real strength is the ability to make improvised effects type noises and the incredibly flexible patchability which are things i can't do with my current gear, I can stick to stable melodic sounds with my hard wired synths. I guess it's also be good for adding external circuits too, lots of scope for experimentation. Good stuff!
