OK easy girls, Nuclear Assault rule, they`re authentic, being able to do what they did at that time (80`s) was awsome and they paved the way for guys like Slipknot and co. I`m 37, so I can say I`ve seen both sides. Slipknot are not well apreciated by purists just because they sold many albums and filled stadiums, but in the absolute , if you love good agressive metal you should not be abusive about Slipknot,their music and intensity reflect the chaos they`re living in, like NA, be objective.

This is Nuclear Assault at its peak, honestly. Game Over, the Plague, Survive, it all built to this awesome album. Not a bad track on it, and New Song, (F# )Wake Up, and Critical Mass in particular are all still very relevant lyrically and damn awesome tracks.

The only band in my mind for which the term crossover has any true significance. Uncompromising, Unrelenting and unmatched in what they did better than anyone else.

@supmayne1 well among thrash fans such as myself, yes overkill and artillery are very popular because i listen to them all the time but to somebody who is not deeply into thrash, for example a regular metal fan, those bands are underground to them. if u go up to somebody who is a fan of the traditional metal bands such as maiden, priest and sabbath and mention overkill or artillery i can promise they'll look at you with an odd expression and say: "who the fuck is overkill and artillery?"
