im stretched to a 3mm,because i dont want to go any further. ive brought a white double flared plug. somehow when i take my taper out there is a hole,but the plug will not go in. so i then tried putting in my 3mm and a 2mm to stretch it a little more, i kept it in for 30 minutes, but it still wont go in,any help of what i could do for it to go in?

Ok I just stretched my ears to a 6g and I wear tapers... I have brand new cyclone plugs I guess? How do I put them in? Will I have problems with them? Will my ear close with them in ? Can I still use tappers

@joey62978 Are the plus double flared? If not you just follow the video pretty much. I've always had problems with the squishier ones...No your ears should not close them in, and yes you will use tapers for your next stretch...You're not supposed to leave them in though.

first time stretching i have a ear stretching kit and right now im using 14g tapers how long do i wear the taper in before i put the plug in? so like do i leave the taper in for 2weeks then put the plug in, im concerned on how long to leave the taper in before putting my 1st plugs in becasue i dont want my ear to go lopsided from the taper. + in my kit i have 1 pair of plugs that you wear with the 14gtapers + 12gT. ..

@kiwikid333funny This is a bit confusing haha. Ok so you start with a 14g, well I don't remember having plugs at 14g but if you do put that in. Wait a week or until your bodies comfortable and stretch to a 12g. Once you stretch to a 12 gauge (aka put in the taper of a 12g) then you put in a 12 g plug. You never go backwards unless your downsizing your ears. After your at a 12g for a few weeks or however long, you put in a 10 g taper then 10gs plugs, and the process continues (:

Tapers are stretching tools only; they should not be left in for any amount of time other than for the stretch itself. You're not even supposed to use tapers past an 8 gauge because of the pressure it puts on your earlobes.

@guitarmademe2 For any size bigger than an 8g, you're supposed to wait three months before stretching to a bigger size, and you're not supposed to use tapers because they put too much pressure on your earlobes (which is why they started bleeding, because your ears ripped from the pressure). Use the taping method next time, it's much less hazardous.

A piercing is a puncture wound, and every time you stretch your lobes you're re-opening that wound. It need to have the proper time to heal and get used to the bigger size before you shove something else in it. 2 weeks is nowhere near enough time for that to happen.

hey just some advice, you should leave the taper in for a few weeks, not hours. if you dont give your ears time to fully heal and get accustomed to the new size you could seriously damage your ears when you get up to the bigger sizes

I'm saying you can switch the taper to a plug of the same size after a few hours, not do a whole new stretch within a few hours ahaha. I'm well aware that depending on your ears, and body it takes weeks to months to stretch to a new size.
