why is it that when i hear this song, i am instantly reminded of pink floyd mixed with a tilt-a-whirl? the odd precision just gets me every time i hear this song in its entirety. the beautiful melodic pastels fluctuating through a haunted carnival is what i think of when i hear it on the album, and my god does it stay true in the live performance. i love the blood is love, i love lullabies to paralyze, and i love this fucking band.

I see what you mean, but to me, they seem to tell a different story each performance of their songs. The album version is definately more groovin' but this version sounds more like a cocaine-fueled vent of pure emotion. Either way, the song's great. Just depends on your mood, I guess. This version works for me.
