@BreezyWindx in 76 F1 season Tyrell team did so to have smaller aerodynamic drag on P34 bollide, due to having 2 small tires in line, instead of 1 big fat one. It worked due to the open wheel nature of the car (wouldn't on this road car). Among pros of this setup I am guessing better stability at uneven roads, and higher hydroplanning speeds due to thinner tires. Mostly ofcourse, a new car maker needed something shouty to get attention to his product, to boost interest and sell cars
