@trixiesaysmeow I am your daddy and don't you forget that little boy. Don't make me send your mommy into your little room to spank you...but again, that would be the only female action you'd get. It's bedtime...and stop playing with your puppy's penis.
@trixiesaysmeow You're so cute...little boy. Gosh....you make me wish I was a faggot. But, I'm not. Since the best you can get is little boys, I'll offer my male puppy for your sexual pleasure. Can you handle my puppy's dick? Your mommy won't object to you fucking a male puppy instead of her? Will she? You appear to be a proud faggot and bestial. I'm jealous. Can I fuck your mommy the same as you?
@trixiesaysmeow It's so good to hear from you again. I missed you BUTTERCUP!!!! It's comforting to know that you recognize yourself as a "fuckin faggot." You started this activity and now you're trying to justify your femininity...how cute. Are you still suckling your mommy's tits? You even used the word "cum" instead of "come". Your terminology bespeaks your intentions. Your channel (teehee) shows your sexual escapades with your sister and momma. So sad.....
@trixiesaysmeow Hello buttercup...do you still want to pretend you had the last laugh? That's so cute. Look at the history of the comments, everyone will see you as nothing more than a coward. You make disparaging comments and disappear. The evidence speaks for itself. Goodbye buttercup and good luck with your mommy fetish. And, keep using the upper case letters, I'm sure it makes you feel like you're special. Oops, my bad, I forgot, you are special. Goodbye Coward.
@trixiesaysmeow Hello Buttercup....I'm back. You never responded to my last comment. You started this whole affair in making some very rude obnoxious comments that you could not defend. When called out, you resorted to name calling and disparaging comments...and, all of sudden, like a coward, you disappeared. Why? Where are you buttercup? You obviously have a mommy fetish...

@trixiesaysmeow You are a sad pitiful little boy. Are you still playing with your little wee wee? Are you mad because your mommy spanked you too hard?
@trixiesaysmeow Is that the best you can do?? You're not only a pedophile, but you're a redneck who has a fetish for mommy. You're mad aren't you????? Your mommy caught you last night giving the pet dog a blow job and it turned you into a bitter little boy. You play with your little wee wee while fantasizing about you mommy. You feel lonely don't you??? Your mommy and the pet dog is the best you can do. So sad!!!!
@trixiesaysmeow You called me SON!!!! I feel so special. Your own words bespeak you affinity for children. The best pussy you can gotten is your momma but proclaim a big DICK when exposing it to your SON. Do you expose yourself to your daughter and other children? You need to be arrested. You SICK BASTARD!!!!
Great song, would love for the full length version to be on ere, I've discovered this song back in the mid 90s and it took me many years to realize who the artist was but knew it had to came out around 1980 or so
"Love Stinks" is a great album filled with great memories. While I don't care for the condensed version of the song (I call it "K-Tel-ing" if anyone is old enough to remember K-Tel Records squeezing in so many songs from a variety of artists that they had to be condensed to fit), "Come Back" is one of my all time favorites from J. Geils.
@smithsmithdt Totally hear ya!!!! Rollerskating... YES!!!!! Except it was to "LoveStinks"... Then "New York Groove" By Ace Frehley, "The Stroke" by Billy Squire and other great songs from back then.... where in the cripes almighty have the good times gone??? Come back teenage years!!!!!!!!! : /
I had totally forgotten about this song till I saw the Adam Sandler movie "Grownups" and they played it at the beginning.Loved it in the 80's,love it now!
@buchananstreet bullshit. This album is chock full of hard-hitting R&B as only Geils could do. Sure they had a few pop songs to pay da bills. You got a job? Know what it's like?
Great tune! Love this disco style stuff that a lot of established rockers were doing back then. I.E. Shakedown Street from G.D. and Emotional Rescue from the Stones. Oh and who could forget Kiss doing I Was Made For Loving You?
J. Geils is COMING BACK to Detroit this weekend!!!! Can't wait! Oh, the memories from the late '70's to the early '80's (Centerfold, Freeze Frame, etc. EXcluded - they were JUNK in comparison)! Motor City Shakedown, THIS!
Didn't go.... by the time I found out they were coming, the shows were sold out. Tickets were going on Ebay/Stub Hub for ridiculously high prices. :-(
Setn Justman does a great job with the Yamaha CS-80 synthesizer on this one. Notice the phasing in the sustained notes, most likely done through leaning into the keyboard and using the poly-pressure.
In the solo, towards the end, there are the pitch bend glides. Probably done with the CS-80's unique ribbon controller.
I wish somebody would come out wih an affordable midi controller that has the multi-channel aftertouch (pressure) and ribbon controller of the 33 year-old CS-80.
This song brings back fond memories. I remember dancing with this lady I was so infatuated with - I was 21, she was 25.
We danced the night away. She was a florist and told me we could never be anything more than a one night stand - due to the age difference. The night was magical at pier 94.
This is one of my favorites by J. Geils Band. I saw an laser light show back in the 80's done to this song. It was cool. This song is great to listen to when driving.
Wow, once roller skating was mentioned, it all came rushing back to me. When this was really hot, we were roller skating fanatics. This song reminds me of good times, being a teenager and not worrying about stuff all the time. I wish I could revisit that time, even for just an hour! This song is awesome. Now I think I'll check out one last kiss.
Wow, I guess we all did a lot of the same things back then. I used to rollerskate in competition (freestyle) and we used to get the rink to ourselves after public session was over and we CRANKED this song and a bunch of others before the team captains would bust us and make us practice.
I took my kids to see J Geils whenever they were in SF.. One time Fay Dunaway was in the wings watching her then husband Peter Wolf perform. Crazy Huh! The best band ever.
j geils kicked ass and we partied to this shit all night long. detroit was big on dudes and they even recorded a live record there... saw them many times. roosevelt stadium in nj was with kiss, ted nugent, bob seger etc.
Awesome tunage! One of my faves next to Sanctuary from this hot group! Be nice for them to reunite and do a tour. This is a great tune for driving the freeway.

love the j.geils since i started high school in 82. i must of been the only one in australia who did. fell in love with the bloodshot and thrashed the ars out of the monkey (island) and still to this day i play them once in awhile. they helped me through the good and bad times of my life. i noticed a lot of people get into the politics of the band members well *uck all that i live for the music.
I'm just a little bit away from y'all in Akron, Ohio and lemme tell ya we ALL loved Detroit Breakdown along with everything else...got to see them live around 1979...maybe '80...what a BLAST....7 encores!!!! Miss 'em!!!
Yeah, after the "Showtime" album,I really didn't listen to them anymore, love the old stuff, but Seth was trying to direct the band elsewhere when they were doing just fine.Oh well...
Im affraid that Im not familiar with that album. I got off the J Giles train just about when everybody else did. I still listen after them when they are on the radio. Peter Wolf was interviewed on NPR a while back. look in their archives if yoiu want.
J Geils is schitzo musically. Half songs good on the rock side, the other side funk and mostly awful. This song seems to straddle the two, though not very well. Incidentally, that bifurcation in the songs was personality derived from the band members, which is why they split up just when they had made it. After they became big, "some" wanted to go Funq and "the rest" wanted to go Roq. Too bad for all of us.
Gang, could ya please make your comments WITHOUT havin' to use cuss words? Little kids imitate what they read!

Incidentally, that bifurcation in the songs was personality derived from the band members, which is why they split up just when they had made it. After they became big, "some" wanted to go Funq and "the rest" wanted to go Roq. Too bad for all of us.
