oh really haven't you notice that since prop 8 every opportunity Homosexual stars have to talk about their homosexuality they talk about it. I mean after all she could have kept it private. They are trying to bring up homosexuality in the media as much as they possibly can to try and desensitise people to it.

@charlamain2209 Prop 8 was the REASON why some stars started to talk about their sexuality. Wanda Sykes didn't seem to mention it openly until Prop 8 came out. Accusing homosexuals of wanting to take over the churches is a pretty disturbing comment, I think you need to be careful in what you throw out there. Homosexuals want equality - not to burn down churches and eliminate religion, don't you think they would have done that by now if it WAS part of their agenda?

@MrGetBusy69 Oh really in san francisco protestors, protested in front of a church, some vandalized churches and over one the protestors raised the gay flag. when leaders of the church went to city council to file their complaint they held a press conference that was televised. In the background was a sign that read jesus save us from your people. While waiting for the doors of city hall to open, because it was rumored they were going to try and keep them out, they shouted obcenities at them.

@MrGetBusy69 In the council meeting both sides were allowed to speak, one of the protestors spit on a pastor and was arrested. There is a video on youtube in which you can clearly see this man spat on him. For at least two hours the protestor tried to argue that this man did not spit on him and accused them of false arrest. In the end city council members made speeches that clearly showed that they were on the side of the protestors. as far as I know nothing was done about this matter.

@charlamain2209 That's a fair point, and it is pretty disgusting for anyone to think that spitting on people, or defacing property is okay. BUT, this sort of over-the-top protest is definitely NOT limited to the fight for/against Proposition 8. It happens all the time, it should not be shocking to hear that a protester defaced something or spat on someone. Look at Greece's riots during the GFC - I bet a public servant would have LOVED a golly instead of a burning car.

Homosexual orginization had the opportunity to step up to the plate and say hey let's peacfully protest but they didn't, some of the heads of these orginization I think are speakers on the video I gave you the link too.

Your argument is that homosexuals are forcing their views on the American public, which is fair enough. If you owned a business that rented out space for weddings and such and you were a Christian would you want them to have the right to marry if they are going to come into your business and when you turn them down sue you. To me giving them Marriage is giving them respect, if they want that respect then in return they should respect a business owners right to decide what sort of events they want or don't want to have on their property.

cnt. I feel that their right to marry results in the unequal treatment of those who do not wish to accept homosexuality as an acceptable way to live. If they would be willing to be turned down by a business and walk out without any hurt feelings then I would be more accepting of marriage because in doing this they would be respecting the beliefs of others. And don't bring up race when there are no verses in the bible that are against race.

As a theater Student I have learned that everything from Lighting, to the colors of the set, as well as music can create whatever mood you want. one of the biggest way's they glamorize homosexuality is the appeal that girl on girl has on guy's.

basically I'm saying that in order for everyone to be equal we have to validate everyone's beliefs and not just by our words but by law as well. We have to do like NY did and dissmiss any religious organizations and possibly business's owned by anyone with any religous beliefs contrary to same sex marriage from lawsuits concerning same sex marriage. Even marriages are supposed to be founded in Christ and both spouses are to encourage and compliment one anothers relationship with God. I can Love Drugs but that doesn't make it a good thing.
