There are some bad tracks in VF5 i.e. goh, vanessa, Jeffrey, and Lion stage, but overall, the soundtrack sounds very good and unique. VF5R, on the other hand, reminds me a lot of the Mega-man X series soundtracks (mostly 90s games from the old Super Nintendo) -- and that's not a compliment.
I hope this gets released to the ps3! I wanna play as Jean. And the music for virtua fighter... 2 and 3 are tied for the best.

I agree. VF5 had some good music, but the tracks in VF5R sound much different, and IMO, worse. The music sounds like it belongs in F-Zero.
