I don't think The Top Guns were as bad as many of those Internet Wrestling "critics" say they were. Yes, they couldn't hold the jock straps of The Midnight Rockers or even Badd Company but they tried hard. Both those guys (and Derrick Dukes) were just too green. By 1989 and 1990, Verne had nothing but Larry Zybysko, a bunch of green wrestlers and dated AWA talent. He had to push somebody.
