  • u t0 coOl to PLF mang

  • i would have chopped it.

  • that was scary

  • You were soooo lucky they didn't go right into a downplane. The way your main had your body oriented. You know what you did wrong. You know not to do it again. A painless lesson can be a rare thing in skydiving. Congrats.

  • @neomuttley agreed, i just had a bag lock, i tried (like a dumbass) to get the main to go, cypress fired simultaneously as i cut and pulled @ 800ft

  • Why?

  • lucky bastards - both of You.

    p.s. good, that You're alive - i hope both of You learned something :)

  • Whoa! Where's the PLR? Alti-check anyone!?

  • how should you land a two canopy out situation... just flare one canopy? main or reserve? which ever is bigger? what if they are the same.

  • @korbentaz Are you really a skydiver? If so, change your instructor! Make yourself a favor to your security, download the Skydiver Information Manual (SIM) in the USPA site and read it ALL.

  • @ducadj look.... i've been explained what to do by my instructor, it's just that I enjoy hearing what others have to say. I'm sure not everyone is going to say the same as what my instructor says or what the SIM says. Was just trying to invoke comments that asnwered the question really. Thanks for your concern though.

  • @korbentaz For me, when both canopies are deployed I have 2 situations:

    * If is flying, let it fly;

    * If is falling, take some attitude.

  • @korbentaz if it is flyable, go with it. i guess you could always use a hook knife tho.
