  • Wow, you are a real fag.

  • I used to make tahini before I took an arrow to the knee

  • Thank you as I live in a part of the world where you cannot buy straight Tahini but can get the seeds. Now I can make hummus.

  • You explained the process in detail and I'm gonna try it.good job sir.Can you post the recipe of Teriyaki sauce.thanks.

  • very helpful thankyou

  • Good tips.

Glad to hear about the organization feeding the needy once.

  • Love this very well explained video. I had no idea. Thanks.

  • Well done :) thanks so much. Do you know any thing about or how to prepare tempeh?

  • I always make my Hummus with Peanut Butter. It tastes good. Real good.

  • @thePowerPlant yum!

  • Wow yummy

  • @TwistedAlphonso1 very much yummy.

  • OMG! Dan! I went to a Lebanese restaurant and they serve almost everything with tahini! And my friends didn't know what it was and I taught them when I learned from you! thanks for making me feel smart! hehe~

  • @vanessadtam AWESOME!

  • I LOVE tahini! and I love your videos:) thanks for making them:)

  • @Babanyul1 Well sure - Glad you like them!

  • Cheers :)

  • @crazy91kim Cheers to you too!

  • 3:01 SUPAH FR3SH!!!!!!

  • @TheMrCreepah FRESH x 3

  • Daniel Delaney rocks it again! No more bitter, boring canned tahini for this household. Fresh is easy, fast, and costs no more than canned. Check your local Asian market for a great price on sesame seeds. I love WTF! Next up.....eggplant?

  • @lsatlof AWESOME! Yea, I'll cover eggplant, but they're a bit seasonal - I'll wait until they come in. :)

  • I think I may try this and experiment with different oils like maybe a coconut oil -- I like Olive Oil but it is used so much, sometimes I just want to break out the box, so I am thinking either Coconut or Safflower oil.

  • @ItsMeFawn Yea! You should. You can make smaller amounts into a mortar and pestle if you have the patience.

  • Why is your tahini brown?

  • @MrRallz All about how much you toast it. It will get nuttier and richer - but don't burn it - then it'll be bitter.

  • Could you do an episode on okra? I know it's not a "weird" food, haha, but I think it'd be a good educational video :P

  • @tokyoxjapanxfan We did! It was one of the first episodes. Look for it on my channel. :)

  • allergy to sesame seeds :/ hey daniel what about negative but constructive comments?

  • @MsBlooz87 Bummer about the allergy - and yes - love a good critique!

  • (tahina) as we call it is very poular here in Kuwait and other gulf region countries :) we eat with dates and use it in cakes and cookies :)

  • @neatkitten Yum! I bet it balances the sweet dates well.

  • @danieldelaney it does !! thanks for a great show Dan :)

  • ive seen it at the grocery store and it was super expensive and you could see the oil separated from the rest and I wasnt sure how fresh it was. I better try to make my own anyway

  • @PlatypusGuitar Ah well, the separation is natural. Natural peanut butters will do the same thing - you just have to mix it up a bit. But it's easy to make, as you can see, either way.

  • you are so funny, yet you give us useful info :D. this is a great show. you should have a lot more views. Why don't you include this in hungry nation?

  • @iuliqt Thanks so so so much! Hm! Haven't really thought about that much! But it's an interesting idea!

  • Love your channel

  • @PopGoesNappy Aw - thanks so much! Glad you subscribed! Where are you from?

  • can i substitute the olive oil w/ other neutral oil?

  • @edinayee Sure can!

  • Cool! I had never heard of tahini before.

  • @aglanceatmyworld Learn something new every day!
