Caldwell may not impress as a speaker, but his writing is extremely enlightening. Incidentally, I think the interviewer does a very poor job here.
caldwell is softly but clearly articulating american hegemony as inwardly viewed by pat buchanan, william buckley, pat ropbertson, and the rest of american evangelical neo-conservatives hoping to preserve white domination of the globe. Europe's inability to fully embrace the u.s. soul of the tea party is weakening the billy graham-francis shaeffer's agenda of maintaining westernized-white supremacy behind the mask of judeo-christian farce & facade. Caldwell repeats the line that mass immigration is necessary to counteract population decline.
This is an argument that resonates simultaneously with the free-market right (who like the idea of a cheaper imported workforce) and the politically-correct left (who are hostile to traditional family life and the nation-state).
The obvious solution to population decline is to restore the privileges and financial advantages of traditional marriage, but the free-market/PC alliance would veto this.
this male does not seem to be too well informed. the figure of 2 million muslims in Britain is how many muslims are British citizens, not how many there are full stop. and that figure is ancient, it needs to be dramatically revised upwards. plus, doesn't include the illegal immigrants. god only knows how many there are of them. the 20 million overall in Europe has also got to way out, again, will not include the illegals, and is prob' just he amount of actual citizens.
