we should have ads like this running year round. I mean clever ads talking about the current events and how people don't understand the ramifications of thier votes/representatives.
We recorded the voters near the pedal boat rentals one day, then we shot the puppets just south of the theater on the other side of the Lake on the next day. Wait till you see the next two ads. They're even better! :)
If we repeal the 14th amendment and then get a few Constitutionalists and Libertarians in office, things would look a lot better.
Although I hope that once Bush is gone the Republican leadership gets taken back by real conservatives like Mitt Romney, George Voinovich and Rick Santorum. I also hope the Democrat party gets taken back by real liberals like Mark Warner, Joe Lieberman, and Harold Ford Jr. . They actually work nicely together when they're not both fringe groups.
Lieberman is not a Democrat, he is a moderate Republican. If you want Bush gone sooner vote Democrat and let the impeachment proceedings begin. Insofar as repealing the 14th amendment this is not the income tax amendment that Libertarians want to appeal, it's the equal protection under the law. While were at it let's dump the 20th and the one about cruel and unusual punishment and the one about billeting troops in private homes and ....
Umm, you only have about half an idea what you're talking about. Lieberman is what a Democrat should be. And there's no real reason to impeach Bush. The 14th amendment granted birthright citizenship, and radically changed our governmental system to something different than what the Constitution laid out. (Look at how governors were elected before 1865, and after 1865, for example.) Not only that, it was never ratified! The 15th amendment is the equal protections amendment.
If everyone quit voting against the worst of the two major candidates and started supporting a candidate they could truly believe in, we might be on our way to fixing our political mess.

What was the budget for this ad.. $20?

Probably. Shows that Bruce Guthrie won't squander your money when he's elected.

Ooh, does it really?
geerolla 5 years ago
No. But it gives you an indication that he's more frugal than the two spend to win candidates.

This came out quite well. Slick editing, and slick puppet hair.

It just goes to show you that most voters have something jammed up the opening of their backend.

Don't be a party puppet!!!
Cantwell voted for the USA PATRIOT Act, and again to re-authorize it in 2006. A vote for Cantwell is a vote to violate our civil liberties.
