some of those girls are just too skinny, but the picture with the ballet girl, well thats pretty normal. i'm doing figure skating and modern ballet, and i'm like her, and if you are doing sports like that, you ahve to be taht skinny, if your not, you can't di the sport, thats why we have a food scheme, and NOT throwing our food up or dont eat anything like some of the ofter girls, it can't be compared!

Anyone who wants to go through anorexia better be prepared for hair loss, depression, horrible body perception, a skeletal body, swollen cheeks and joints, fear of good food, dangerously low blood pressure, irregualar menstrual cycle, and especially trouble in getting pregnant. "Thinspo" is disgusting. Girls, learn to love your own body and learn to eat healthily. Those who are pro ana need counseling and need to understand that they are beautiful no matter what.

No matter how true they are, and how brutal and unhealthy they are told anorexia is, they will continue to attempt to reach a fantasy perfection. Well I think that anorexia is as far as it gets from perfect. I don't think that flaws are beautiful, although, as they say, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. For me the perfect body is a fit, strong, and healthy body, not fat, not skinny.. The whole anorexia thing is just one big great flaw. @redarmada17 Because they're too heavily influenced by models, who also live an extremely unhealthy lifestyle just to meet the standards of the fashion industry. They want to be like those models, but at the same time have a low self esteem. Society puts too much pressure on people when it comes to weight loss, and teenagers are the ones who get hurt the most. I agree though, a good body is one thats healthy and strong, and that has been prevalent in society up until today. What a shame.

No matter how true they are, and how brutal and unhealthy they are told anorexia is, they will continue to attempt to reach a fantasy perfection. Well I think that anorexia is as far as it gets from perfect. I don't think that flaws are beautiful, although, as they say, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. For me the perfect body is a fit, strong, and healthy body, not fat, not skinny.. The whole anorexia thing is just one big great flaw. How can these girls think that a guy would ever feel sexually attracted to.. their... bones and ribs...?? How they hell can they think that this is pretty?

@redarmada17 Because they're too heavily influenced by models, who also live an extremely unhealthy lifestyle just to meet the standards of the fashion industry. They want to be like those models, but at the same time have a low self esteem. Society puts too much pressure on people when it comes to weight loss, and teenagers are the ones who get hurt the most. I agree though, a good body is one thats healthy and strong, and that has been prevalent in society up until today. What a shame.
