What this man did is not like slapping some plastic panels on a Peugeot to make it look like a Ferrari. He did what coach builders use to do. But because he used the old fashioned SL chassis and running gear, it will never be able to fulfil the expectations that are created by the super car styling. He should have built a 300SL Gullwing replica and build a Wolf in Sheep's clothing instead of a Sheep in Wolf's clothing. Still, I think it looks very nice this Mercedes. Respect.

What most people don't know is that this replica already was made, before mercedes put the real one in production.

The builder took the measurements from

a 1:18 toy car, so it's fantastic what this guy did. Also, he had to search someome who could made the taillights and the headlights (who are made from real glass), because the real ones were not available back then.

and that was all this guy had, a toymodel witch he measured and scaled it to full sise. So thy that with a car that doesn't even excist!
