truly a charitable endeavor good sir, how ever so kind of you............Dammit, I know I am enjoying a story when I imitate a the accents......poorly
I am really impressed with this episode. there seems to be an actual attempt at making the villains of the episode cunning. this is what people want in a series!! :D
The plot thickens here .. what's old Waterfield up to, what's going on, who's he talking to, why's he got a secret futuristic room? He's setting a trap for the Doctor & Jamie, isn't he, but why, what for? The Old Curiosity Shop meets Doctor Who! Past, present, & future all mixed up! Even The Beatles are a part of all this cloak&dagger stuff :-D
Because at the time it was considered that they were worthless & nobody wanted to see them. Don't forget this was a few years before home video. It has also been suggested that BBC Enterprises thought that these were copies & that the BBC film library held the masters & no one bothered to check or to get in touch with the BFI to see if they wanted them. Of course a few episodes did end up at the BFI ie The War Games
Hey! I have an idea! Maybe someone could get some friends together with copies of the scripts for the missing eps.(They can be found on the internet) and refilm the missing eps! What think?
Very well done. I particularly like the sliding door effects. I noticed the soundtrack has no commentary and has the "Paperback Writer" music in the Tricolour sequence. Are you the guy rumoured to own episode 1 and is holding out for £15,000. If you are...hold out for thirty.
Godd recon plus the dialogue is excellent.

the BBC destroyed alot of the old episodes because they didn't think they would be need in the future for anything plus it "took up too much space"

I don't see why someone can't take the audio and these pictures and use computer animation to restore the episode.
