  • im from the uk. and your right the majority of them dont. luckily i know when to laugh. the laugh tracks are so annoying.

  • i agree man, people need to think and laugh for themselves.

  • what's up with your face

  • what's up with the laugh track

  • if ali g is just a wigger, why is his uncle named jamal? methinks the beauty of ali g (the character) is that he's actually ethnically ambiguous, and so no one is allowed to call him on his stupidity.

  • I really want to know how 2 do the finger snap thing

  • "nobody can keep it hard for that long"

    XD

  • chocolate orange?

which movie is he talkin bout?

  • clockwork orange

  • A Clockwork Orange.

  • clockwork orange?

  • ali G is the most brilliant comedic idea in ages.

Sacha, keep it up me bruddah.

  • im gonna sue sacha for making me almost choke on my cereal whilst watching this lol!

  • 'Chocalate Orange' LOL

  • James Ferman has died apparently. In 2002, aged 72. Sad.

  • i think he handled this interview better than anyone else

  • He was good, but he was no Boutros Boutros Ghali.

  • YES i agree actually... and i have to say i noticed this as a person who lived in egypt and saw how fun egyptians can be.... boutros was real laid back

  • fayed was good too and he is also egyptian ;)

  • @aghneyya James Ferman was a master at defending 'his' BBFC with the media. No matter what you thought of him, he was probably one of the best BBFC directors in terms of defending the BBFC and its decisions, both from a legal stance and from a press stance.

  • this guy's cool. he's takin it with humour.

  • he shook hand...wat the hell?

  • I think this is the fist interview Ive seen with him where the guest figured him out

  • he is da geeza

    FUCKIN lol

  • they're sitting really close to each other

  • They are, that's funny...good call

  • ali g is like, almost sitting on his knee 0_o

  • i want to see steven colbert vs. ali g

  • I'd love to see that too. Colbert would be hilarious if he was set up with Ali G.

  • Ali-G would take Colbert. He's too stupid to lose.

  • Cobert is hardly a comedian.. more of a politician. Ali G is just a joker.

  • This guy is actually one of the coolest guys in all of AliG's interviews!

  • Yes, I wonder if he was ready for him, because he takes it so good.

  • Is it just me or are they sitting really close together?

  • I noticed that as well, abit disturbing. :p

  • He didn't know his kamasutra! Imagine, not knowing of Punani for 25 years. hahaha

    ?v=2JyAJrN-vUA

  • yerr he banned all the good stuff in the UK and cut the hell out of loads of films Thank God hes left the board now and ALI G rocks! after he left the BBFC it was great! loads of stuff was then released including the nunchaku scenes in the Bruce Lee films sadly cut by him for years!!tazik

  • agreed.

  • He hasn't just left the board. He's died.

  • well thats one way of leaving.

  • I wanted to love his show but I can't stand laugh tracks it just annoys the crap out of me.

I don't understand why they added them though, first thier weren't laugh tracks, but that was then.

  • I totally agree about laughter tracks, especially in stuff which is fully filmed and then shown to an audience such as M*A*S*H and Red Dwarf VI. But I don't think the producers had any other choice here, because The 11 o'clock Show was filmed in front of a live audience and the bits by the then unknown "ALI G" were introduced by the hosts.

  • @thingsihaveseen4 It's not a laughter track, it's coming from a live studio audience

  • What do you mean there originally wasn't a laugh track? This is Ali G's first ever appearance, it doesn't get any older than this.

But yeah, it is really annoying. The League of Gentlement also started off with a laughtrack but got rid of it by season 3.

  • I'm hearing the Laugh Tracks were added for when HBO aired it in america

  • @DestructableMe its the audience on the show not a laugh track pan head

  • @DestructableMe

that's a live audience, i used to watch the original british episodes

like the chappelle show, its not laugh tracks

  • Fuuny, but I like Ali G better without dubbed laughter...

    Respek.

  • this guys funny but he always talk to lames i wanna see him talk to some witty youngsters

  • That's part of the joke. Playing on the generation gap.

  • thats my grandad woo

  • Is he really? - I've always liked the way Sacha gives his interviewees the space to shine in all three of the ALI G uploads I have. When I first uploaded this 6 months ago, I was very sad to see that James had died so soon after. I was not surprised that the obituaries I read (one of which I've put in the info) bore out the impression, I already had, that he was one of the good guys.
