I love Halo, all COD games are twitch shooters and eventually turn into a game of hide and seek, all camping, not to mention the lack of vehicles in multiplayer, same goes for Resistance and Killzone. Halo is my favorite FPS game.

I was one of those who got it at mid night but i have a question iv been wondering...what made this game have so much hype? How did this one game get so much press. You would think a game like GTAIV or MGS4 would have been able to top it but what gave halo 3 that edge that gave it more hype then movies, books, tv shows combined?

Lol, thats because games like those hardly break 2 million copies sold. I remember, Little big planet just broke 1.5 million after like 6 months and Sony said it was a big accomplishment. The reason, Halo's multiplayer over shadows the campaign mode...and thats why it's not the best game of all time, it has to be awesome in both categories. And the story isn't that original, one hero saves earth from aliens or enemies, hero dies in the end blah blah blah. Still a shit load of fun though, but don't think it deserves this much attention.
