I have heard all the albums of Satyricon, but i cant find any clear difference between them. All of them have the same dark style, just the last album(The age of nero) has more clean vocals. Is that a problem?? The only reason you should complain is if Satyricon make a rapid divertion on their style(like Metallica etc). Till now im very proud such bands exist.

I don't know man. I think it'd add something fresh and controversial to the music. Stripping things down and making more organic music seems to be the trend when it comes to Satyricon lately. I always thought they were a very poetic and operatic band. Clean vocals wouldn't bee too large a huge stretch. Listen to Vikingland. Satyricon are made for it.

The old guys are shot out of passion. I wont insult Darkthrone but they are not BM either anymore its just that simple. Umm. I agree. But, with Black Metal, atmosphere and look are a very integral part of the art. It's the one genre where the looks really have a big part in the product, as shallow as that might seem.
