  • vav,,nothin wrong at all with this at all ..apprieciate u puting it up .. im on a big mission to learn as musch of this down as authenticly as possible ..your video helps my do that ..i like the way u slow it down ..and repeat it ,makes it easy to follow ..for your first lesson i say good job man..and thanks again..

  • The best angle to see the fingering would be from the bridge looking towards the nut i think.

  • Great sound outta that tele..I Never Played in Other Tunings..Great to see it ..Im still Trying to Play Standard Tuning!!!LOL!!!

  • @Carlfgauge hi

  • Didn't suck that much - pretty nice in fact, thanks. I'm confused about the open G tuning, I thought it was DGDGBD but I see where someone posted it as GBDGBG. What's the difference? Thanks.

  • @aikojed14

Thanks for the kind words. Well, Keith Richards doesn't even use a lower 1st string. He takes it off! Also, I'm pretty sure that the lowest string is a D, cuz going down or up to the G would sound and play weird. Lastly, when the lowest string is a D you can still get nice chords the same type fingerings that is typical of this open tuning. So I would use the DGDGBD tuning for common stuff like Stones etc...try Can't you hear me knocking by the stones in this tuning.....

  • @Vavoom09 Yes, its a good video mate, I found it very helpful, thanks for taking the time to put it together.

  • good job - thank you

  • open G tuning is suppost to sound like an open G chord. so the tuning is GBDGBG

  • Yo - @chrismarshall1950 - Isn't open G tuning ... DGDGBD ... starting with 6th string?

  • @Wats4Crick sorry, my bad, your right. i was looking thru my "Rolling Stones - London Years" sheet music book and the tuning said DGDGBD

  • thats one shiiiiny tele! nice video, thanks for doing this.

  • Thank you for taking the time to do this. Nice Job. Thanks

  • This is great. The first one to actually show the right strum for the opening - tks
