The corporation has a right to its Free Speech, and this is one such instance. There are other issues, I am sure, that Target corporation found attractive about the gubernatorial candidate, as a Republican, such as, lower corporate taxes, and a free-market (corporation) friendly politico-economic platform.

I have been an employee of Target for 7 years for supplemental income. The Target I know has treated me fairly, donated tirelessly to the fine arts, Special Olympics, and a multitude of other community causes. I have no idea why, if you are upset with Target as a corporation, you would choose to ruin the day of some random employees who have no care or knowledge of your cause. Those are people just trying to make a living, like you and me.
When I worked there for three years it was bad I got mistreated for three years I reported it 20 times and they told me they will do something but it didn't do any help

Target gave money to a republican candidate in MN, which was within their legal right to do, they did not give money to an anti gay cause. I've worked for target for over 4 years and a good deal of my co-workers are gay/lesbian. Target gives out 5% of their income to the communities that their stores are in. Congress said it is legal for corporations to donate to political campaigns, and many do, why only knock Target, last I checked this is a free country

When assessing the damage done by a corporation or company in this area, look at their practices from the perspective of the most oppressed. What does their $ really support?

I have been an employee of Target for 7 years for supplemental income. The Target I know has treated me fairly, donated tirelessly to the fine arts, Special Olympics, and a multitude of other community causes. I have no idea why, if you are upset with Target as a corporation, you would choose to ruin the day of some random employees who have no care or knowledge of your cause. I guarantee most of the employees in this video were either fired, or quit not long after being hired because that is how target is. It is pretty revolving as far as employees goes so the only people really losing money is target. Which- as a big corporation can afford

Target gave money to a republican candidate in MN, which was within their legal right to do, they did not give money to an anti gay cause. I've worked for target for over 4 years and a good deal of my co-workers are gay/lesbian. Target gives out 5% of their income to the communities that their stores are in. Congress said it is legal for corporations to donate to political campaigns, and many do, why only knock Target, last I checked this is a free country

This is one of the stupidest things I have seen. I am gay, I work at Target. Target is one of if not the most PRO-LGBT companies out there. Like the other person said, Target donates millions of dollars every week to communities throughout this nation. Go protest at the white house for jobs in the country or to bring our troops home.

I fully support gays and gay rights, but as a blue-collar member of society that works my ass off for what I have, there was no need to go into this one particular store, those individual employees who's workday you interrupted weren't the ones that donated that money to that individual, and it wasn't the store manager either. And $150,000 may seem like a lot to us, but on the campaign trail its not much at all. And there are plenty of politicians that unfortunately oppose same sex marriage.

Regardless of the tactics, discrimination is discrimination and lesbian and gay people are discriminated against in this country. Yet today it is still legal in many states to fire someone, refuse to rent them a motel or hotel or house,serve them in a restaurant because they are gay and these are just the obvious discriminations. Show me a hetero that would stand for this without doing some kind of action to correct this injustice.

If you have an issue with Target, take it up with the corporation. The workers in this store are just people trying to make a living and might not even agree with Target's political donations. I'm gay and I know that Target backed the gubernatorial candidate for business reasons, not reasons of equality. In all honesty, I think it was a stupid business decision and I don't agree with the Supreme Court decision, but I hate when people are rude to the people working for Target. Take it up with CEO
