1/100 Turn A Gundam Review

Easily the best Gundam ever designed. It's a shame most Gundam fans can't recognize the brilliance and practicality of Syd Mead, who is the greatest visual futurist of our time (literally). He managed to take a show that generally features mechs that could never exist and he made them appear and function on a practical level, which is saying something considering the scale of these things.

I love the Turn A, one of my all time favorite mechs.

I have the old action figure of this guy. Turn ∀ gundam was designed by an american artist yet the anime was never dubbed. It features a gundam mustache as where most have that v-fin. Originally know as the gundam tiara cuz of the samurai, which is now called gundam horns or the gundam v-fin. But basically the Beginning Gundam and the Turn ∀ are the only 2 gundams with a unique horn set.

version katoki is a better version of a gundam model from it's original appearance...not much is being revised,katoki has been revising mech designs too since MS gundam..you see, RX-72 is not supposed to look that way, thanks to katoki it looks good..try to see MG wing zero ver.ka., if you see a "ver.ka." that's an indication of katoki's works

@oyametalicus i think that the design is really cool. i mean if airplanes used to look like the way the Wright brothers did it before would it be cool? the design is Unique and very beautiful i'd say. the legs are very sexy and the moustache looks good on it. For most this design is failed but for me its very original and has impact unlike those things from Seed (which i barely watched) they almost looked the same

Turn A Gundam's design is most unique in all Gundams. weapons, body structure, and the place where pilot rides, all of them are very different compare to an ordinary Gundam design.

sorry, i forgot to mention about its color scheme. of course the color scheme of this suit is almost the same from the ordinary Gundam colors except the eyes because some of them are not green or yellow (like Gundam F91, its eyes are light blue). ^^
