Uhhhhh.... 1st question: Why is this group classified as a "Glee Club"?

2nd Question: Why would a Glee Club even do a song like this?

3rd: Why are most recordings of this song so slow? This song is meant to be fast as all get out...

Only one recording i've found has done a good job of that... This was good even still. :)

@spectacular1440 actually, "ae" in latin is a dipthong, not a vowel. dipthongs are pronounced as one sound. in classical latin, you would pronounce this as the vowel sound in the word "my". but when singing in latin, ecclesiastical pronunciation (church latin) is used instead and it is pronounced like a long "a", thus: day-mon

yup, that's really us singing the song.

it just sounds better than the one you heard during the actual concert because this is a different recording, but from the same group. we usually record songs from our repertoire a week or two before we actually sing the songs... and this is one example... we were just not at the top of our game during the concert... we all have our bad days right?
