RIP Byzantine.. heard this on music choice years ago and it was always used to pump my ass up for hockey games. Another great unknown band that never got the light they deserved.
@iAmPesukone When they did they said it was only to play a few local shows, their guitar player left and ever since then i haven't heard anything from them.
I found them through Metal on Sirius.I had to stop to write the band name and this sogn name down on a napkin at a stop sign and flipp the guy off behind me.Lazarus A.D. came on after them the song by them was The ultimate sacrifice you guys may wanna check them too.
I've always been a fan of these guys from seeing them live at home in WV. Hadn't heard from them in a while until I find out that one of my friends from work has replaced one of their guitarists. Brian "Hendo" Henderson is an excellent addition to the line up. Shred it up Hendo!
@Thraxxacor I found Byzantine listening to WAAF's harder faster years back. It was one of the few bands that I thought well enough of at the time to buy their cd. Since then I've gone deep into Melodeath, Thrash, and Industrial. Latest stuff I've been listening to is The Absence's Riders of the Plague. Brutal and awesomely melodic.
i was watching music choice on my tv, and i went to the metal channel, and Hatfield was on, i was like, woah, this is beast. a year and a half later, i was like, what was that one song back... HATFIELD!! searched it up and now these guys are one of my top ten
Ha, I found these guys by chance when i was really bored and surfing thru all the music channels, got to the metal channel and they were playing slipping on noise - insta fan.
@Thraxxacor My girlfriends brother is a total metalhead and he introduced me to these guys , Behemoth , Cannibal Corpse , Immortal , Dimmu Borgir . I guess you can say he's got a good taste in music ;)
@Thraxxacor thats exactly how i found them too. was just browsing the music channels and happened upon this song and got instantly hooked. its just straight up bad ass, mosh-inducing metal
It's incredible how I found out about this band. I was at the car wash, I seen some CD laying on the ground. I picked it up, cleaned it off, put it into the CD Player and BAM... I had a new favorite band xD
they're the only band i've seen where they're the first band up at a show and get a diesel pit going. when i saw them w/ lamb of god their singer had a soar throat so all their songs where w/out vocals, still badass as all hell
this song is the shit the quality isnt that great though. i heard about them about 4 to 5 years ago. this was the song i heard i didnt have to hear more i already liked them. they have alot of other good songs to. i agree with krak list about panic at the disco.
i cant believe how few views this song has, it's an awesome song, and really good sound quality. i don't understand how shit bands like panic at the disco can be huge, and a good band like this is just unknown
@kraklist people like new stuff...this is still pretty old school (that's why I like it) and some people are sick of bands that sound the same. Look at mastodon and baroness. they sound pretty much the same but the fame was captured by mastodon because it released the new sound before baroness. things like this will always happen in music.
I like the extra 3 minutes of silence added on at the end...its like youtube didnt even want this song to end!
