Why is none of this cool tech demo stuff in the final game?!?!? The main retail game was linear, EMPTY, lifeless, and kinda boring!!! This would have made you feel more like you were in the movie, instead of a cartoon like the retail ver. was. But still why was the final so lame?!?

I guess after they changed stuidos who was making the game they dropped all this stuff with the people. I would have liked to have seen the game like this almost like a GTA sandbox game. And i bet in there game you could drive the Ecto-1

Interesting that apparently they were going to make an open world game. If you've not played the released game the only thing similar to this are the graphics and some of the gameplay elements. There are no crowds in the game at all, the most you'll see are 3 people.

at the start of this, you see stone angles take people away, but that isnt in the game either, as well as the crowds! why put so much work into it but never actaully use it?

It's a tech demo, i don't think there ever planned to be in the finished game but it's more for people to see what the game engine offers and what it can do.

Stone angels holding people can be seen in the office in the Times Square level, and there are a few people running into the building before you go inside of it in the same level.

Crowd Tech and the Parade lvl were dumped in the final game, good thing to, because the crowd animation sucks big time.

This is quite an impressive game engine! Much better than I thought it would be. The modding potential for the PC could be limitless.

I've been playing through the game on PC and it plays extremely well and the controls are tight. It was ported over nicely but I can't understand why they stiffed us on multiplayer!?! Multiplayer for the PC version was cut out for some odd reason and it's pissing a lot of people off so much they won't even buy the game because of it.

It was a good buy still.
