@pnar13 for getting to Snowpeak Early, the ice blocking the passage disappears right after Zora's Domain is defrosted iirc, and you can clip through it somehow, so you can go at any time.

As for Lanayru, don't remember. The Map Glitch has this unfortunate side effect where the game soft crashes if you get game over or go through certain map transitions. For example, in this video I enter the howling stone simply because the game would hang if I went ahead and dug into the cave.

Ow, I get it now. Map glitch shut the triggers off. Wich also means the blizzard trigger. I thought you use map glitch to climb up REALLY high and get past the trigger. xD You know, open a door, pull out your sword and go out again. I thought with MrP0tter's Early Snowpeak Attempt and then climb higher. lol. This is much easier.

on the gamecube, you just press Z and the right directional to open up the map at the same time. It should be noted though that the glitch does not work on newer versions of the game

No and yes.

No one has found a way to do the map glitch just by pressing D-up and (1) at the same time, but I did discovered how to do the map glitch on the wii. Instead of pressing the two buttons at the same time, I used a botle filled with something and opened the map at the same time. If done right, the map opening sound effect will play, but the bottle animation will come first. Then all you do is press Z right at the end of the bottle animation.

An easier alternative to that (To test if you have Version 2 of TP), is instead of using Midna to cancel the warp, you can use a sign to cancel the warp. This time, you can just press A and (1) at the same time.

That's weird. You said that with paraxade0's morpheel no zora armor glitch the EMS glitch route is possible. But he said in the description of his video, that your video was uploaded a couple a days ago and THEN made the video. How dould you know already if the video came a couple of days AFTER this video?

I discovered this glitch a day before paraxade beat morpheel without waterbombs (which would be Sept. 12), but I didn't get around to making the video until after paraxade beat morpheel without zora armor.

You know, I found a video from logitechSDAZ, and he's doing the: '' Steal bomb bag from Iza'' with the occoo from the Lakebed temple. So... this video is kinda useless. But still cool. :)

no it's not. logitech's technique requires a lot of luck manipulation since it isn't garanteed that you would get a rupee from a jar, and only saves 3 minutes (if that). Also, most of that time saved is because the fishing rod is skipped, which is a tough trick to do.

So this trick would still be used in a SS run.

if you put on the iron boots where you dropped off the hot rock, and go under water you'll see the hot rock moving... if you press A to check it it will say "...." or something, you bomb it with water bombs

strange? but y can't you beat the goron mines?? I mean, i did the ems fixed method by beating the goron mines, get the bomb bag from barnes and get up the cliff with bomb boosted jump attack. is there a faster way?? :DD

yes..

this video is dealing with the ems fix that allows you to SKIP the goron mines completely, so that you only have to visit the Sacred Groves once in a speedrun.

This way, instead of going all the way up to the Master Sword and not getting it the first time, you can actually get it and beat the game.

there are 3 bomb bags in the game, and you can't get the one from barnes, because you can't beat Goron Mines.

Yes, there's a bomb bag under the rock after you warp it to Zora's Domain, given to you by a goron.

And if you're wondering, you can get waterbombs by dumping out Iza's bomb bag and fishing for them in a secret grotto

how can you steal bombs from Iza?

obtain Oocco in Snowpeak, then use him to warp out of the dungeon. Then you just warp to Iza, agree to help her out, and then warp back to Snowpeak with Oocco Jr. Note that when you save, you don't keep Iza's bag, so you'll have to get the bag from the Goron stuck in the hot rock.

Hi, i am wondering how do you do it without being on the same map?

Im doing it on the Wii, and i get it too work in Kakarikio and Ordon Spring, since it is portals there, if you get what i mean.

But when i try to do it in like Ordon Village, i have to choose Ordon Spring to warp too, since its the closest. But then Midna only warps me there, and no map glitch happens D:

My guess is... that you just need more practice.

Also, each time you try the glitch, wait and make sure that minda can be called. That's something I usually forget whenever I do the glitch.

Wow that was a great ending, but did you have to turn the game off afterwards and can this work with the Wii's version of the game?

you can't do anything while you're falling like that, and since you will never return to land (unless you hit some water which in that case you can hope to swim up) you can't warp to cancel the glitch.

It works on the Wii, but I've just recently heard news that it doesn't work on all versions of the game, check LogitechSDAZ's videos for how to do it on the wii.

no no. what I meant was that whenever you warp, it ends the Map Glitch's effects. And that can be a good thing because you can't go into new areas when it's activated.

I did it right before the hill with the Yeti, where you go snow surfing. Just do the map glitch, turn to the left a bit, and jump.

you totally missed the point. with this glitch, you can get the master sword early, and skip the goron mines completely. It's a huge sequence break.

ok, this is gonna take a while to explain.

So you go out and get the Master Sword Early, beat the forest temple and eventually get the iron boots. Then you skip the Goron Mines completely, go straight to Laranyu Province with the Epona Gate Clip or Map Glitch. Beat that, then go to Zora's Domain. Now because you skipped the Goron Mines, you don't have the Bow, and Barnes never gives you a bomb bag. Also, because you can't get the arrows, you can't kill bublin 2 and get the Zora's Armor.

Without the Zora's Armor, and some other stuff, you can't get the corral ring and catch a reekfish, which is where this glitch comes into play. The Map Glitch prevents certain triggers from happening, like triggers that load new areas and the trigger that sends you back when you walk through the blizzard. So now you can climb up the mountain. How does that help? Entering the Ice Mansion early lets you get Oocco again, which you use to get Oocco jr. Then you can steal Izza's Bomb bag...

... dump the bombs in the bag, catch some bomb fish in a secret grotto near the Bridge of Eldin, Warp back to Zora's Domain, bomb the Ice Chunk with the Goron stuck in it, get the second bomb bag, warp to Lake Hylia, use logitech's waterbomb air restore trick, get into Lakebed Temple, and save. This warps you onto land in Lakebed Temple, where you just beat morpheel without waterbombs, skip the temple of time, beat arbiture's grounds, and palace of Twilight, and finish the game.

To do the map glitch you just press Z and d-up at the same time on the gamecube version, and something harder on the Wii Version... I think you have to drink/dump a bottle and open the map at the same time. Then warp on the map, and midna will talk to you. it may take a few tries to get it, but once you get it on the Gamecube it's easy.

I tried that you can get Ooccoo from the Temple of Time then go back and get the Ooccoo from Goron Mines again but then when I go back to the Temple of Time Ooccoo will be waiting for me at the entrance

I used the old fixed EMS but beat snowpeak early before finishing Lakebed Temple

I can't warp the cannon early during MDH anyways I thought the fact that the z button icon still flashed meant that I could warp the cannon the normal way if only It didn't think Shad was watching but I just tested the same concept out on the peice of Eldin bridge in Gerudo Desert and it didn't work

It seems as if the farthest you can get during MDH is the Temple of Time

You can go to the ToT before you beat Lakebed Temple, get Ooccoo, then warp back to Goron Mines and get that Ooccoo... (wait, are you playing 'fixed' EMS, not the now fixed 'old' EMS method?).

It's a no go, I was able to finish Lakebed temple after Snowpeak Mansion and still get Auru to appear, thinking I could get the spinner to get through The Temple of Time but it forces you to collect Ooccoo thus I would be stranded in the Sacred Grove if I were to continue

2) If you beat Temple of Time "early", you can't do the Cannon warp trick for early City in the Sky.

Yeah I did it turns out after being snowpeak I can beat the temple of time then possibly City in the Sky (if I can get the cannon fixed) then I can go back and finish lakebed temple (hopefully that will get Auru to appear) and I can beat Arbiter's Grounds and then The Palace of Twilight and then unfortunately be stranded with no way out

The secret grotto is just south west of Eldin Bridge, it's not to far away from the bridge, and you dig into it with link's wolf form. It sorta looks like a big dirt spot.
