Hey can someone help me? im a guitar player and a friend just got a sax like a few days ago.. but the thing is(help me understand the why and how) when i see toturials of ppl teaching they tell how to do a A note.. the thing is when i was see him practicing the A note (he barly can do it but when de did it correctly and the sound was good) i pulled a mic and a tuner(very acturate) but it showed me a C not a A... and i can't help him with scales and stuff not knowing why this happens. PLZ HELP ME

@adamconnellymusic Thanks adam just started back playing alto after a break of 15 yrs forgot a lot in that time your videos given me some hope to keep going rob from Ireland.

@MrSuicideMan Alto sax is an Eb instrument (I think) so you might have to transpose.

old Yamahas are good too, especially if you can get your hands on one with "Yamaha" purple writing on the bell.
