  • @Lee94503 I don't think so. There are so many olympic disciplines already. And besides, fighting is fighting. You don't need to put in so many different versions of one and the same thing.

  • tori tori tori

  • That was a nice block by RED at the start of the fight...

  • I thought Honey Noval won the 2000's champs?

  • they are a discrace the the great art of escrima!!!

  • What the hell was that !?! anyone of those head shots would have ended the fight and a shot on tthe hand would have caused you to drop the stick ending the fight. that wouldn't have happened in reality. there was no tecnique and the body mechanics were horrble.

  • agreed, they just focused on the hitting and some of the movements rather than the technique and the footwork. I mean hell, they did not even follow throw with some of the strikes that seriously took away the power. I bet they would fight differently IF they did not wear the armor.

  • hi there nice movement....try to check bahad zubu livestick sparring....sadly you could not use some of the movements here coz ouch ouch and ouch...but good for sports tho...just a constructive criticism

  • YEAH FILIPINO martial aRT again LOL!!!!

  • This Blows in so many ways, im sorry but this is fucking Lame. Kemscrima-doh look in up thats all I have to say.

  • wtf is with the armor, you only use it if your using real swords

  • All that armor just teaches bad habits

  • Aye, they should use foam sticks.

  • have you seen "real filipino stick fighter best in its class"? its dedicated to all FMA artist and masters thank to all of you

  • damn shes fast. wow

    that armor seems bulky...

i could barely keep up with her movements with my eyes... holy shit. i would get owned in a second. :0

time to shamelessly promote me and my friends :

go to my channel to see some stuff involving fights. but we kinda dont have any training. with swords that is.

  • i train and spar with a head guard/mask thingy, a glove and an arm guard. i train with that because i cannot afford to buy the rest of the stuff and the stuffi do use is borrowed. We use proper rattan sticks. Afterwards i have white bruises edged in red or purple depending. That doesnt make me any manlier or tougher than those two. Peope who say people who use armour for sparring are idiots. We'd love to be able to afford it.

    P.S. I'm not very manly anyways ... i'm a girl. :P

  • Do you already have a boyfriend?

  • why, you offering??

  • looks pretty random ;)

  • don't playa hate congratulate

  • lol the thing i see is that their is no idea of what distance/speed /timing /power or balance ohh yeah you guys do wafp weakass flip arts like to big marshmallows fighing for ohh yeah you guys said this isnt a real fight oops my bad... but you must know how you fight is how you train right so.. whats the point then of putting all the armor why dont you train precisely

  • Ellis has nice legs

  • nice video

...all of you who's saying to fight hardcore or without those armor is just plain stupid...theres a big divied between killing/hurting and competing!!! get a life you youtube trollers!!!

  • shit sport

  • wanna try? fight against the dog brothers

  • try to fight w/out any protection, you cowards!!

  • back in the days there was none...and it was to the death...till general mcarthur band it when he went to the philippines....well undless you want to go and challenge them to the death....

  • hahaha whatever makes u feel tougher.. whatever u say, all i see is a pillow fight. armor is bull haha

  • pillow fight! competitions and training should always be hard core. live sticks and a head gear, thats all! thats true filipino stick fighting. Armor? Bullshit. Thats for commercialized arnis, thats all it is.

  • Pillow fight? This certainly was no pillow fight... If it was, there would be at least two more girls, we definitely would wear much less than the armor and we wouldn't be at the gym...

  • ah i love that one :)

and untamexxx, its just preference... wow

some people dont like broken and busted up fingers and shit. i personally dont use armor when me and my friends fight, but i perfectly see why someone would. cuz damn, it hurts.

  • the armor is for safety retard. theres some skills involved too.

  • *Starts beating on your unarmoured ass with a big stick.* Of course you don't need padding when someone's beating you with a length of wood. I mean, that's like saying people doing kendo should use live blades instead of Shinai. Retard...

  • @untamexxx Ever saw actual competitions in Tondo? They don't have any kind of protective gear at all. Anyway, I don't think you want to come out of that injured, so, I'd say, protective gear is cool.

  • Tori's a good friend of mine from back in the day. She was my teammate on that Eskrima Team that went to the philippines in 2000 and came back with a bunch of Gold and Silver Medals. Tell her Steve says hello and hopes that she and her daughter Chloe are doing well!

  • How long ago was this filmed? I haven't seen Tori for a long time. Tori looks like she's holding back. :) Can I trouble you to pass a message to Tori? Can you tell her to get in touch with me? I have some great news for her. Thank you so much. Great demo by the way. Sae

  • fighting with no armour? thats ridiculous. ud need your arms amputated if u fought a smart opponent.

  • Good one - Tori is making loads of pressure and brings yourself into the defense - hard to get out of there !

We practice (Wiesbaden, Germany) with a little less armour to be aware, where the hits get to. Have a look @ my posts...

  • Wo trainiert ihr in WI und was genau für einen Stil???

Wir haben Ende Sept2006 ein Seminar mit GM Bustillo; vielleicht hast Du interesse?

    Al

  • Nice. Nice gym too. I wonder if you do it without armor, like here in the states.

  • Actually we're located in San Diego. Tori had travelled to the P.I. to compete. We practice full contact with the armor on though. I don't believe it's uncommon, I saw a comptetition in San Francisco with body armor. Thanks for checking out the site. Keep in touch, I checked out your site and am interested to learn about your training. Ed

  • In competion or championships you´ve always got armors !!!

Its a great vid! I love it!

What kind of style do you practise in San Diego? Doce Pares as well? We are a lil club in Frankfurt/Germany.

So pls send some greatings to Tori!
