i'ts a while since i played but i rememebr you had to use the UBIsoft server browser that runs independantly - i've never seen servers show on the in game browser.

you also probably want to get desert siege and island thunder addons (show as mp1 + mp2 on browser) as most ppl have these installed.

you can use LAN to hook up another machine so that you guys can play against each other, we do this at home with Endwar, three TV's three different rooms, all hook up as LAN (Local Area Netwok)

Ghost Recon's originals (pre-GR2) were well deserving of the title "military simulator"

GRAW is an arcade shooter. biggest mistake Ubisoft ever made was buying out Red Storm and destroying their sense of military authenticity and realism by releasing GR2 and GRAW

I did like the old one as well...but the new ones are very fun too. The older ghost recons didnt really have a store...(because no main character) the new ghost recon games have more of a story to them. (ubi soft likes to have a story) I think thats why they changed the game play so much.

I like Gr better than Graw it's much more fun to play coop for GR. More tactical and team based. planing ambush strategies are fun. you can also tackle different objectives first. not as scripted as GRAW
