Its just such a soothing track. It relaxes me to the extent of a drug. It paints a series of beautiful pictures and puts me right in them, its just that powerful. I guess I'm one of the few lucky enough to be able to experience such sensations while listening to it.
Don't think the BEST TRACK EVER OMFG comments are anywhere near truth, but it wasn't horrible, I think for the most part the song just stayed too similar to the sounds used, making it more grey, without any points that stand out
I agree with the first part of your post, but cant agree the second part. If it sounds similar all the way, then it was made to sound like this - works brilliantly for me (and has worked many years, still does).
hey I can see where it might be good for some, but the tune didn't give me any emotive feeling so its not like there was something there for me to feel any who, it ended up feeling bland imo.

To compare, I love all two decades of autechre, but what's good about this song is what's good about their mid to late 90's stuff; just a steadily held build that amounts to something whole. In electronic music, especially nowadays, pulling off something simple that's actually original is quite a feat.
