Third Strikes remiinds me of many games and shows what just go off course. Like Pokemon Silver/Gold. It just felt like not as much love and logic went into making it. Horrible character design. Plus it has nothing to do with SF History. Like the Pocket Fighter series.

Agreed. I really dont rate third strike. awful character design and the fact they pretty much just took the whole combat system from the alpha series.

Then againST4 did take everything from the EX series

The combo is new, but she's had the upward kicks (Tenshokyaku) since Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

I finally understand the concept of the focus attack:

Yes its a useful counterattack, but it can't be spammed or overused.

The hit theat you absorb with the FA does take out of oyour life, but it regenerates back slowly.

But if you hit someone before their health regenerates fully, then they lose the portion of health they were going to get back.

Basically, using focus attacks are key in this game, but using them too much will screw you up

From what i'm seeing, it's not really "parry" but more of a "counter attack" system they have now...i think it's pretty badass really after seeing this video in more depth.

SF IV is awesome.. but i will miss the old parry system, that was one of the moves that made SFIII a cool game.

Focus Attacks are just autoguarding stun attacks. Kinda like the ones in SF EX series.. I see a resemblance.
