I finally got my first explaination of what the resolution means, and your switching from key to key showed how I could sort of write little mini song fragments, no one ever explains the composition side of it, so that a novice can understand what he's actually doing.
I practiced for hours after this lesson, without feeling bored to death,
@Assafkehati Hey Assaf, so I also heard in addition to paying the root note major scale, you can also play the melodic minor scale over major chords for improvising as well, does that sound right/is that a common way to improvise?
Hi! melodic minor is a useful scale. I will try to have one of my next videos talk about that. Also, soon I will have a new website with a section for lessons (new lessons every month). The lessons will be available for free for people who are on my email list/ newsletter. continued...
@MrTaylorN continued... If you didn't join yet please join in order to know when the website is up and also in order to get access to the lessons page.
Good luck and thank you for watching!
go to my website to join...I can't post the link here for some reason...
Ive checked out your videos for some years now, and I always thought that your were really good but now I think you stand on a threshold toward your big breakthrough. This is excelent. Even if one is familiar with this stuff you get alot out of it. Fantastic tone and touch by the way. See you around and keep up the good work!
Thanks!
