@LouTheMetalhead These guys are true metal. Amon Amarth is ok, but they are death metal and not even in Magus' league. If you were really into metal, you would have known that before making your post. Peace brother.
@ridethehogie "If you were really into metal you would have known that" As if I didnt know that?! - All I was saying is that the drums sound to me like an Amon Amarth rip off TO ME. I obviously know the difference between Power Metal and Death Metal. I just have my own opinion and Im sorry if it differs from yours. Would you like it if all metalheads thought the exact same way, and all liked and had the same opinions about everything? Peace brother... lol
Hi Wulfberht, For me they started flirting with a more polished, almost accessible sound on 'Iron will', I absolutely love their 'Monument' era...To me that's what Magus should sound like. That being said I still Love 'em and will always support them! Cheers!
@MrVenom5150 Well,I can say that they won me as a fan with Hammer of the North as I bet they won many others too.One thing matters most however, they wont ever run out of people that will adore them.
man I am a bit gutted, I love Magus so much, but this whole album is vastly inferior to Monument and iron will, it sounds a bit...well mainstream...almost.
@MrVenom5150 I've always thought Grand Magus sounded mainstream. I like Hammer of the North though, alot, but I do think it's a little more boring than previous albums.
i just discovered this band and they're purely awesome!!! this album is epic...

@LouTheMetalhead Seems like you don't know the difference, since this is neither death or power metal.
