@SuperTugz Yeah really. Just because it orbits slightly diffrent and because it's way smaller. Charon and everything isn't close to our solar system and pluto is. And it's inhabitable? So is the rest right?
Fake why I mean come on that can't be a picture that looks computerized or blurry I am not saying pluto does not exist I am saying that this picture look animated
Pluto want be so blurry in 2015 when the space probe reaches pluto for some good clear close up shots of its suface and maybe some form of life there its the last "Planet " in our solar system that has not been explored except the other dewalf planets .
Yeah, I read about that probe somewhere. And life? The odds of life being on Pluto, for it's so far away from the sun, is like an unmeasurable amount less than the odds of life being on a planet in the goldilock zone. So, I highly doubt that.
@blueishmonkey1 Just Think outside the box not only in goldilock zone maybe Pluto is self supporting having a hot core maybe so causing thermal deep inside just letting out some form of heat and the water ice atmosphere causing small pockets of melted pools under the ground having life or micro life just like here on Earth there is deep pools way under the ground with life just living off the heat from just the Earth"s hot core not from the Sun just a thought it could be ...
Because Galaxies generate their own light so we had an better view. But Pluto depends on the Sun so its dimmer than the galaxies and its smaller than the moon so its super hard. Its No use to use the hubble deep ultra field,Never.............
I would say to find life as we know it from an earth perspective, Will be found on either Mars, or Jupiter/saturns moons. However to say that there is no other/alternate kind of other life out there that can survive in the most hostile dark & cold places would be stupid, given the fact that our knowledge only comes from the smallest pin prick in the fabric of over 100 billion galaxies...I would say there trillions of types of unimaginable kinds of life out there. Perhaps pluto is home to such.
the scientist on earth are so stuck to the thought that all life must have water, oxygen and heat, but those are only characteristics of ourselves. i dont think life has to be only based upon what we live by. what if extraterrestrials are made different than us and live by oh say... sulfuric acid, carbon dioxide, and extreme heat. its just that we do not know...
First of all, I thank you for all your comments... and kind of building on what I said. Some are saying its to cold to have life there... fair enough... but maybe there WAS life there... but some type of gravity pulled it too far away and it got to cold and all the life was blown away. It could have been the same size as the Earth.. but it got too cold, and it shaddered... all possiblitys....

I don't know if its plants, animals, human, or the most popular, alien.....
But I think that we were destined to be so far away from pluto, that we can't see the life on it.... and I know, I know.... Some low-lives are going to insult me, 'cause I believe in these theorys... but I don't give a rats ass to what they think, my theory, my life...THEIR low-life...
And please if you believe me, pm me....
And sub? No. final theory: I believe there is life on pluto
Sounds like your "theory" is based on romantic fantasy rather than any coherent understanding of chemistry and biology, much less any hard evidence that might suggest the possibility of life. It is not my intent to stomp on your belief, but I am curious as to why you believe as you do.
I am one of those people, who doesn't care what science and bioligy have to do with life, I'm good at that. But, I hate romance, so that is not the reason.
I'm a little religious, I believe stuff like that, and if not on pluto, I still think there is other life in our galaxy. But if you think of it, there probably is life somewhere else.
To some degree. What do you think of the likelihood of life on other planets and moons in our solar system? Or is there something about Pluto, specifically, that you find particularly engaging?
I don't know. I just think that its too far away to get any information on pluto, and I think that, at least, there WAS life on pluto, maybe even right now, but some gravity pulled the sun away from it billions of years ago, and it got cold, and lots of pieces broke off of it, it could have been another Earth...
1st am no low life and am not going to say bad stuff. and maybe you have a point. pluto may have life on it. but it's to far away that means it's frozen cause it does not get anykind of heat from the sun. and i think pluto is a esceped moon of neptune.
First of all, I thank you for all your comments... and kind of building on what I said. Why shouldn't there be life on Pluto, no one knows. We trust those idiots at NASA, all they do is lie. I know people who work at NASA that have said that the public would not be able to handle the truth. All people want is visual evidence because they don't understand the fundamentals of dimensional shifts.

Not really, life could exist on planets without being next to the sun. Its called a Dyson shpere effect. Planets create energy from within the planet. Not all atmospheres have to be 1,000 of feet high. Look at Saturn's magnetic influence on Ice, same goes for heat.
Well, that is correct about the best we can do for now until New Horizons reaches that distance. Probably a decent representation of what the dwarf planet might reveal. Nothing too special though, just a rotating sphere that could be done in flash or blender. Can't wait to see the real thing.
Wow, are some of these comments on here ignorant. Or are they written by children? The small size and great distance of Pluto results in this image, which is a computer reproduction based on the light received by the telescope. It's the best we have until New Horizons arrives.
Surface revealed: WIN. It's the best our current technology can do until New Horizons arrives there. These images actually tell scientists a lot about Pluto.
Just because its the best image available now, doesn't mean the surface is revealed, at least this must be entitled "Pluto, Surface PARTIALLY-Revealed by Hubble Space Telescope"
Actually, a lot is revealed, such as albedo, which gives an idea about surface features and surface composition (how much is ice, how much is rock). The average person will say very little has been revealed, but the scientists can gain a large amount of information from these fuzzy images.
hey nickfury1012 heres the real story: 1908 a lady named sally rusa was in the woods looking for a dog until a ghost came and killed her so if ur reading this u will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck!!

It also discovered other moons of Saturn's along the way. It's not the same as New Horizons.
