In a nutshell - no-one cares about politics, we just want to live in a country that doesnt tax you for everything. including a penalty for dying with over £400,000 worth of estate.
We want a politician who fixes the problems...not causes more.
You're basically right. We really do want all the benefits our government can give us, without having to pay for them. And most people don't really care about politics.
But I wouldn't agree that taxation is as bad as people say it is. It's just greed that assholes don't want to give up any of their "hard-earned" money. I'd like to see a country tax under 25% on income and be well off. It doesn't work. Just ask Mexico.
