you really don't need massive advertising sometimes a good web presents can get you over i'm a business owner,i'm in the asset research and recovery industry and i have a service that most people need child support mortgage overages bankruptcy estate inheritance people search back ground checks notary public i find people money where they can't in todays economy people are looking for money.
Just to add. If anyone can show me that black stores are offering similar prices, customer services and variety and people are still going to the Asian then yes, there is a problem, but for anyone to think I'm simply going to shop with you because you're black and pay a premium in order to do so is not really considering my needs and I would probably conclude from that they aren't all that concerned with their customers needs!
All due respect. Business is competitive. If someone is offering a lower price, superior service or results, more than likely they will get the business. My question is this. Why is it than in 2010/11 are we still struggling with these basic concepts. For instance did it ever occur to the beauty supply store owner you mentioned to shut 2 of her stores down and combine to make one big one? That way she could probably offer the same lower price due to volume.
In the U.S., there are 823,500 black-owned businesses that generate $71 billion in revenues.
African American owned businesses make up 4% of the nation's 20.8 million non-farm businesses and 27% of its 3 million minority owned farms.
38% of the nations African American owned businesses are owned by women, a higher percentage than any other minority ethnic group. Black Press. repeat the lie long enough and people believe it.
yes advertising is one of the things we really need to do more of in our community. We often try to rely on word of mouth. I don't know where that myth came from. Word of Mouth doesn't keep a business to survive if you don't have massive advertising.
