@EmuAddict Nah, you just need to know where the level data is stored, and what each byte represents so far as each individual tile is concerned - no need to kill yourself with Gameboy specific assembly. :P
Difficult? Depends. There's no level editor, but if you're good with hex, it's... well, kinda' frustrating, but not too bad. Patience is a must, though.
