maiden is a hell of a good band same as running wild got all iron maiden cds n got all running wild dcs maiden with out dickison or harrys would be a problem there n rolf has done a hell of a nice work unbeliable how many good song rolf got treasure island, blazon stone,victory.death or glory,maroom,into the arena,the ballad of william,the brotherhood,rolf is nothinfg but good still both bands are good

Oh, I'm sure there's others out there. Running Wild have been nothing but consistently good their entire career. Maiden were great for a while, but became stale towards the 90's and became a parody of their old selves.

In that case Iron Maiden suck compare to the great and wealthy Nickelback. See, comparing music based on commercial success is moronic at best. If you're not intelligent to disect the music for yourself and realize if it's good or just filler, than you have no business arguing about what band is better than another. You just follow whatever the trend is.

maiden lyrics are way more mature no pirate bull mostly anti war very long and epic song and they are WAY more known then running wild which i think is a shame cause RW sound really good . besides when i started listening to maiden i didnt saw even 1 clip or heard of them befor i just happend to hear them once and just loved they sound

Well that's where we are at an impasse. I am not as lyrically oriented as you so we cannot objectively compare the same points.

To me, Running Wild are a great band, with simple but effective lyrical themes and tremendous riff/song writing ability and musicianship. I like them better than Maiden, though I like both.
