Thanks so much for your comment. I do use the urban decay primer, and i also tried insurance policy from Two Faced. But, I am still having problems with colors being muddy (although have had a lot of improvement in staying power. I wonder if it's the way I'm applying the shadow that's the problem.

@sweetalmondevents do you use an eyeshadow primer?? I used to have the same problem with colors, but (after watching a ton of Kandee's videos) started using her recommendation of concealer + powder + eyeshadow primer + powder and it's so much easier to get a great shadow look!! My favorite is Urban Decay's primer potion. Helps make colors blend better AND they last all day!! Good luck ♥
