Brandt is awesome, he and Randy his trainer sorted me out with a VIP 4 day pass for the British Open. you could not wish to meet a nicer guy, I was invited out to Georgia to play some Golf and visit an academy with them too. All this from meeting them in a little gym, and spending some time together over 5 days! We had Luke Donald, Charles Howell III, Bo Van Pelt, Webb Simpson and Adam Scott and Davis Love III too. But Brad was the man, a real Gent!

JASUS! Grow some balls man! Has he no self respect? No dignity? Thats whats wrong with the world today, too much namby pamby shite. This is what happens when men start using skin creams and getting facials. I blame David Beckham. Its a Golf tournament, he'd have a valid reason to cry if he had to work behind the counter of some convenience store his entire life for minimum wage. These guys get paid millions and dont even have to win, stand up straight and stop being a girl.
I've forgotten the reason I got here, ooh yeah looking for a face on view of Immelman, actually yeah there's one for you, Immelman thought he had cancer earlier that year, didn't see him balling and he won the damn thing. Snedeker needs a good swift kick in the balls, that'll sort him out.
I'm sure he was crying yesterday after his four-putt on 18 to miss out on the tour championship....that was tough to watch....four-putt from 12 feet when all he had to do was two putt to get in the top 30....
i was at the canadian open all of last week, following this guy, i got his signature about 5 times, he gave me two golf balls, and in the club house i got to shake his hand and meet him, he's a real nice guy and a good golfer too, forget tiger, this is my guy now :D
I have been a Brandt fan since I saw him at the 2007 John Deere Classic he is such a nice guy, if you are looking for a favorite golfer then he is your guy
wouldnt you rather a guy like this be number 1 then someone like tiger.. i mean this guy is one of the few nice guys on the tour.. although tiger is pretty cool
I just learned about this guy at this year's Masters, and loved watching him play. He's my favorite player after Zach Johnson. Both real guys with big hearts. Go Brandt and Zach!!! I hope you guys clean up!
This guy was all smiles throughout the tournament and now he's even able to do so while crying. Uncanny. Also, why did it sound like someone went flatline in the background?

He seems like a cool guy, but he clearly did not understand the enormity of what was at stake, it was only when he started putting his ball in the water and making bogeys that he started taking it seriously, and by then it was too late.
I think he was taking it seriously. Maybe some of the talking to the caddie helped relieve tension. He played the first 3 rounds great. I think he could have taken more time like everybody else did, but this was a new experience for him. Everybody, except Tiger, takes a few jabs at making it until they finally get there. Trevor finished almost last in 2007.
yeah you make a good point, I just got the impression he wasnt taking it seriously enough because of his happy demeanour, but maybe thats how he deals with pressure.felt sorry for him not winning. I always think of greg norman who once said to a friend he would trade his 2 british opens for a masters. Its just a special tournament and they all want to wear that green jacket.
robots? .. are you kidding. you obviously dont play competition golf. Being a "robot" is what makes a champion. Putting your emotions in check. maybe thats why he lost.. we dont know. but crying? have you ever seen tiger, jack, or arnold ever cry? no.. because there are worse things that could happen in life. get real
yea thats true.. but they didnt cry b/c they played bad. did they? i dont recall a time when they did. im just defending the whole "robot" thing in general..cus i have nothing against the guy.
"worse things in life dude", c'mon. Its not about that at all. Crying, throwing clubs, getting angry, jumping for joy, fist pumps, laughing at yourself on the golf course, its all real brother. Tiger said he cries all the time. Jack has cried when he lost, Lee Trevino, Fred Couples, Greg Norman, Cory Pavin, Tom Lehman, all cried on TV because of a loss. Its natural dude. You put alot of time and effort into your golf, sometimes 24/7/365. So you get emotional. If they didnt cry i'd be worried.

What a great guy! It was said over and over what a great disposition this guy has. Evidently, he appreciates his experiences in life, and has deep emotions. Gotta appreciate what he brings to the table (course).
thats hard to watch

Actually, it was a four-putt; he wasn't even on the green in regulation, because he had missed his tee shot to the right

Sensitive, right. At last, a real person. In direct contrast to the ROBOTS seen in the PGA.

Tiger: 1997 Masters, 2006 Open Championship (British Open)
Jack: 2005 Masters, 2005 Open Championship (British Open)
Arnie: 1994 US Open, 2004 Masters
All three cried at the events listed. You should get your facts straight before you respond.
