today the berlin philharmonic is one of the good orchestras in the world. There is no more the lie of supremacy surrounding this orchestra. They do good performances and less good ones as any orchestra . Of course the quality is good as it is the best paid orchestra of germany and can chose the best conductors, the new york philharmonic orchestra or the russian orchestras are as good, the london philharmonic also. We can be happy to have so many good orchestras.
