well there kinda hard to find pictures of the windigo cause i tried look to for them too, but the pictures i found dont look like a windigo the ones i found either look like a goblin or a deer and a windigo doesnt look like that its supposed to have large red eyes, very large teeth, very big claws, have a heart of ice, and its very tall about like 12feet tall and has a starved frail emaciated look.

There are all kinds of differnt versions. Do a google on Wendigo (couple differnt spellings of this name) or Ithaqua. Also for a fairly decent description check out wikipedia.

The proper term is Wetigo, Eats Alot. The story I heard growing up is different. The Winter of 1899 was very long and cold. Many people died from malnutrition and starvation, One man, out of desperation he started to eat his lips and fingers then got a taste for human meat and started killing off many people from different villages. His heart turned to ice as he became more ravenous.

well there kinda hard to find pictures of the windigo cause i tried look to for them too, but the pictures i found dont look like a windigo the ones i found either look like a goblin or a deer and a windigo doesnt look like that its supposed to have large red eyes, very large teeth, very big claws, have a heart of ice, and its very tall about like 12feet tall and has a starved frail emaciated look.

Actually, the wendigo (spelled wendego) of native lore was a shape shifter that would use any means necessary to lead you away from the tribe, so they very well could have been a deer or a goblin. If a brave was out hunting what better to lead him to his death than a deer?

Not really, that's the lore of those who have studied strange instances of cannibalism in Aboriginal history, to blame it on the Wendego, the Aboriginal idea of Wendego is far more encompasing than just that example.

There are all kinds of differnt versions. Do a google on Wendigo (couple differnt spellings of this name) or Ithaqua. Also for a fairly decent description check out wikipedia.

The proper term is Wetigo, Eats Alot. The story I heard growing up is different. The Winter of 1899 was very long and cold. Many people died from malnutrition and starvation, One man, out of desperation he started to eat his lips and fingers then got a taste for human meat and started killing off many people from different villages. His heart turned to ice as he became more ravenous.
