Both of the cannons shown here have steel pressure chambers rated for pressures much higer than the compressors output. I had a guage on an older cannon it got shot to hell so I dont put them on the cannons anymore Instead I put a regulator and guage on the commpressor and the fill hose has a guage and a second regulator where it connects to the pressure chamber, much safer out of the way and easier to read when ducking for cover.
@ZEUKI1 I wonder, would you mind to explain how you made the aiming controls for the larger gun? the ones to control the up, down and side to side movements of the barrel?
Take your barrel piece cut off 2 iches cut about 1/2 inch strip out and test fit in the barrel. cut more untill you get the "test" piece to just fit inside the full size piece, measure how much you had to cut to get it to fit and thats the easy part... No one measurement will work evey time I have run into variations in thickness/diameter of the 4 ich abs depending on manufacturer
ALSO I do not recomend you use PVC It is too brittle in the cold warps when hot and can become more brittle after exposure to sunlight. I use ABS in my cannons for barrels and I prefer cold hard steel for pressure chambers. There a many forums out there that discuss this in length, just keep in mind this is not a potato gun it is a towed piece of equipment that needs to be rugged.
At first it was....... sometimes it pays to just step back for a while and do something else. Come back with a fresh perspective, that helps me anyway.
thanks for the comment, look forward to seeing your build. these things are a blast to build, I have a lot of fun just making them. Good luck on your build, thats why I post these vids, share the knowledge so to speek. A word of caution though, they can be slightly ADDICTING HA ha ha.........

also, why haven't you put a pressure meter on your pressure vessels, just to be safe.

you said for the bigger cannon, you took 2 pieces of 4" pvc pipe and cut a strip out of one...how big of a strip did you cut?

I was honestly expecting some over complicated system for the shell ejector. but that is awesome.
