"Cable is a nice guy and the voters "darling" but he would bankrupt the country with his policies." He wants to tax capitals gains the same as income tax for goodness sake! Where is the incentive to start a business if you are taxed higher and have the huge risks involved. The Lib Dems stand for crushing entrepreneurship.

You have to get that the Federal Reserve Baan is the Govt counterfeiting engine that creates these bubbles with easy credit. We need to manufacture, underconsume and save not borrow and spend. See Forgotten Recession of 1920-21 for proof. Taxes were halved and Govt debt too. Lasted a year.
Cable has the easiest job because he's never beenin power and never will be. Osborne is a lightweight, he contradicted himself and lost every argument, which he was bound to do as the Tories policies are impossible to defend.
Darling came out of it quite well, and seemed to have a better grasp of the details than Osborne.
