Did Rob or yourself ever see the original film 'Bedazzled' (1967) where Peter Cook played the Devil? Go to my channel and play the featured vid. Its Peter Cook singing with a stoicism that stuck with me all these years, its brilliant!
Re: the collector card. There's a tradition of giving kids little cards with pictures of the saints or Mary or whoever. My dad went to Catholic school from K-12. Can't remember what movie or tv show we heard it on, but somebody talked about a nun named "Sister Mary Holy Picture Card". He thought that was hilarious and repeated it often.
When I was a kid me and my sisters used to go out to the cow pasture and wait for the Virgin of Guadalupe to appear to us. Virgins always appear before innocent young kids, and we were hopeful. But, alas, she never did.
But the original sighting of the Virgin of Guadalupe was by an adult. Maybe you should have waited for the Virgin of Fatima to appear, since she was supposedly sighted by children.
Robert, I tried to look up a little bit about the Virgin of Guadalupe but was left a little confused. Supposedly the guy who saw her produced a cloth with her image on it. Do you know -- was that cloth saved and exhibited in a church like the Shroud of Turin, or lost over time? Just curious.
I don't know why I dragged my sisters into this. It was only I who looked for our Lady.
I've been to the new basillica of Guadalupe in Mexica and supposedly it's the original tilma that is displayed there. A bomb went off in the 20's causing extensive structural damage to the original church and nearby buildings, but the tilma remained intact.
Hello Mel, That little vase is a "bud" vase I believe...not named after the beer BTW. The computer puts out alot of harmonics or birdies that interferes with HF radio...an outside antenna would be helpful. "Butt" vibrations are quite common and quite harmless as long as they are not encrypted...regards...
There's nothing wrong with having a imagination! :) It makes things more exciting! :) And kids love it!

The radio came with a long plastic wire to use as an antenna. We had it strung around this room at one time.
