I'm getting a cockatiel and I was wondering if you knew what a good kind of treat is for training purposes? I already have a seed diet planed out plus I also have pellet mixes for variety but I can't find what good cockatiel treats are
@brentc1910 i think you should just look at things cockatiels can have, and have a low nutrietional (don't know if that's spelled right) value. then you should pick somethingyour cockatiel likes the best, so he/she is more motivated to work for the treat

my dog does that! shes a little too old and big to get on the couch now and we take turns to give her a "bum up"!
she snarls and grumbles but never snaps, just waits there! and she does that bark when lifet up, i think their saying "get off my ass!"
so cute, and a lovely smile.
