The .N. Resolution known as the Partition Plan that passed 33-13 was not a democratic act because the UN is not a democratic entity, all the UN is is an organization to 'comfort' the smaller nations and make them believe they actually have a say in the world.

Remember, that any of the permanent members of the security council can immediately veto any resolution they like, hence it's not democratic.

A democratic way would have been to have all the written citizens of the region do a vote on it.

Israel should have been founded in a democratic manner by the UN, rather than in the militaristic manner which it was, all of the current inhabitants of the area should have been allowed to vote as to whether or not a jewish nation was to be created, the fact that you had a country there long long ago doesn't matter. By your logic we, Sweden, could legitimize invading both Norway and Finland, as they were both part of Sweden for a very long time, Finland being part of Sweden for upward 700 years

Gargantou, the so-called inhabitants that many like to call Palestinians, were in fact Arab invaders of other people's land - in this case the Jews (that were under expulsion by the Romans). The land of Israel, twice promised, became, according to the Qur'an, Muslim land.

Did you ever live next to Muslims? Obviously you never did. Otherwise, you would not be that ignorant as to compare them with Scandinavians.

I live next to Muslims, Sweden has a quite substantial Muslim population, especially in the larger cities, such as Stockholm(where I live), or more infamously, Malmö.

I believe the core problem is not Islam, but rather, other parts of their culture.

I've seen most Swedish muslims adopt to a more modern way of living, and adopting their faith along with it.

I know many muslims over here who for example are far more tolerant of homosexuals etc than their say, Iranian counterparts.
