I was living in San Diego @ time of this game. One of my wifes Family members was a Miami fan. He would not shut his mouth leading up to the game. By half time he was not saying a word and his Mother inlaw was dogging his ass. What a great day that was. LOL.  RTR!

@Alycanjg The sad thing is OSU gets a bad rep when when love fans of other teams in our stadium. You ask many visitors to our stadium and they will say it was the most friendly place very respectful fans. Personally I think Florida and Miami are the two biggest trash talking fan bases in college football. Most of the trash talkers from Florida have disappeared but the number of delusional Miami fans is ridiculous!

Coach Bill Oliver had the Tide defense ready and the thugs from Miami had their trash talk rammed down their throats. Sitting on the 48 yard line, it was a fine evening for me and my son. Most of the Miami fans were wearing "F---K BAMA" buttons before the game, but by halftime, the buttons miraculously disappeared.

However in the past 30 Miami has been the best team in college football history of 120yrs. All one has to do is check the records. The Florida schools carried college football the past 30yrs. Yeah sure we haven't won recently but its like storm season with Miami. The cycle or season changes and we rise again. We still are the number rating team in college while losing. You use in that BCS championship game against either team this year. The ratings would have been off the charts.

Miami always gets Florida lower rank kids who become stars in the college and the NFL. You'll see some of our stars performing today in the NFL championship today on all the teams. Playmakers is what the U makes breed or whatever in college and the Pros.

Hell last near North Carolina had the most draft picks. The SEC has one academic school according to the rankings. I guess you can include Florida. Lets look at the ACC. Wake Forest Duke Virginia Georgia Tech Boston College Miami and Virginia Tech. Half the schools are in the top 75 academic rankings.

Before 2008 everyone said us Bama fans were living in the 70s. Thats complete crap. From 1983 (Ray Perkins frst year at UA) to 1996 (Stallings last year at UA) we fielded great talented teams in 1986, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1996. Hell we probably averaged atleast 9 wins per season in that 13 year period. However after UA made that dumb decision of making Dubose head coach in 1997, thats when our program started to field those crappy 4-8, 3-9, and 6-6 teams of the late 90s & 2000s.
