  • Man,,,this music still gives me chills

  • who else screamed when they saw david

    was it just me

  • its tree minutes 18 secs.

    LOLOL

  • Did you know there was a Dr. Who movie in 1965 starring Peter Cushing as Dr. Who? And no, I'm not dating myself. Only learned about it in a movie site.

  • @StarbirdXXX I screwed up the joke. I meant to call the poster "Guy from 2006".

  • You forgot Matt Smith, guy from 1996!!!!

  • @VendettaBlackRanger - That guy from 1996 would be Paul McGann, better known as the Eighth Doctor. :-P

  • David Tennant was awesome but Christopher Eccleston will always be the best. Matt Smith is alright but his episodes are kind of poop.

  • Tom Baker forever

  • matt smith is the best

  • Hate to say but no one will ever be better at playing the Doctor then David Tennant. End Of Story

    Thank you and good afternoon

  • @Kaynas1988 Well, you have a right to your opinion. I personally think your opinion is rather closed-minded, but that's just what I think.

  • "These are..." not "This is..." :-)

  • Guys ...plz... to who have the full serial..I really really want to see it from the first season...plz help ;(

  • @Etharification The BBC lost about 200 episodes to record-overs, but check out watch?v=SIwjLrhBLsw

  • thumbs up if you're watching this in 2012.

  • @aykutb111

    we ain't in 2012 yet ^^

  • @Etharification you are not in 2012 yet.

  • Tom Baker is the doctor, hands down.

  • Christopher and David FTW (L)

  • There are many Doctors, but Tom Baker is THE Doctor. The definite article, you might say....

  • Tom Baker ftw!

  • You missed out Paul McGann. Sylvester McCoy died in the movie so Paul does count as a doctor.

  • In the words of the doctor "brilliant" :D

  • Christopher Eccleston 4 ever!

  • @Mimmie65890 and I thought I was the only one

  • @Mimmie65890 Chris was my first. He's MY doctor :). You never forget your first Doctor, and that will always be your Doctor.

  • oops sorry, thats 11th OR the 12th

  • My favorite is the 11th of the 12th

    oh and ps, dont blink...

  • I really hope they do some form of the classic credits for the fiftieth anniversary special.

  • what the hell happend to the 8th doctor?!!!

  • mmmm psychedelic :D

  • Guys please answer, why did the docter befor the current one change or morph into a new person? is that what all the docter do at the end of every docter? so the current docter really is the first one?

  • @crangesJ technically yea, when he's close to death or somthin he regenerates, and that happens when the current actor won't play the doctor anymore they make up a story (normally a "to be continued" story) for him to get hurt, or too old, and then he "regenerates" into the next actor :)

  • the 4th still kicks butt

  • need a update rooom all 10 doctor and put all 11 doctor in 3 min and in the 11 doctor theme

  • @francosaccone i know i put room sorry it mean to say remove

  • & then theres matt smith :LLL

  • the top 4 well known Doctors of the entire DrWho universe in order are.

    David Tenant.

    Colin and Tom Baker

  • @FLAME4564 That's 3, nimrod.

  • @NotJabels24 yea i ment to say that one. Damn typos CX

  • Peter Davison's is by far the best!

  • Very well done. I love how you edited it all together so seamlessly it really looked like one continous opening. Excellent work.

  • David Tennant and Peter Davison are the two best doctors.

  • I live in Australia and it is almost impossible to find the 8th doctor in stores anywhere why is that?

So if any Australians or people with a real anwer please reply to me.

    Thank You for your time.

  • @TheJohne83 do you mean 8th Doctor episodes? It's because there weren't any, he only appeared on screen in the 1996 Fox Doctor Who mini series which was a major flop. The 8th doctor does appear in several non-screen p[rodcuts like the books and i belive the comics but the show went right to the 9th in 2005 & never really explained where the 8th went or what happened to him.

  • Personly, I rather the electronic verson(s) of the theam over the current orcestral(sp?) version, I don't find anything worng with it, but I just rather the electronicness of it.....

  • I love Colin Baker's smile

  • TO EVERYONE WHO'S EVER WATCHED THIS: Kill me. Just kill me now.

Never in my life have I ever watched any version or generation of Doctor Who. Of this fact I am incredibly ashamed, so please do not rub my face in it. I am trying to change this, but it all looks so complicated and I have no idea where to start. Everyone I've ever met who's ever seen DW has told me it is amazing. There's a first time for everything, I suppose.... but I NEED HELP. Where do I start? What do I do?!

  • @TotalPirateLuvva It's a very easy show to get into, If you have BBC america or BBC, doctor who is on quite a bit.

  • @TotalPirateLuvva I just started watching doctor who recently and it is less complicated then it seems. On bbc america or bbc it's on at least twice a day mostly the 10th and 11th doctors. It is more difficult to see the earlier doctors. The doctor is the last time lord and he travels in the tardis; time and relative dimentions in space. He is aprox 900 years old, travels with companions, and saves universes. When he dies he regenetates into a new person, but with the same memories. Have fun.

  • @TotalPirateLuvva If you have Netflix you can catch all of the new series there & it's available on streaming. The newest season is not going to be up until the dvds come out but if you have an Xbox you can get it from the Marketplace. It's 1600 for p[art 1 & 1440 for p[art2 as they split season 6 into two parts in England. That's not to bad but if it's not an op[tion than that's fine, by the time you get through the first 5 season Netflix should have it up.

  • The fifth doctor's theme is amazing.

  • watching this kinda makes me wish they did the giant face thing in the revival :) could you imaging a giant david tennant face in the middle of the time vortex :) or eccleston.. OR MATT SMITH! 'twould be epic indeed

  • you need to update this with matt smith now :)

  • Still think this is the best mix on here.

  • My Doc was Peter Davison, but I love them all.

  • To me, David will ALWAYS be The Doctor to me. :"}

  • @Fatmanmi DAVID TENNANT FOREVAH!

  • @Fatmanmi

    1st Doctor was the best.

  • @Fatmanmi ahhh no try Tom Baker.... way more jelly babies...and K-9 what did the others bring...thank you

  • My first Doctor was John Pertwee ... I think I'm older than the Time Lord !!

  • Hooray hooray for Colin Baker!=D

  • @SciFiFangirlsFTW I love Colin Baker toooooooooooo much!

  • Comment removed

  • My fav doctor so far is matt i only grow up with the 9th 10th and 11th i did have a liking to david but not really chris ad he only did 1 season great through love this 9th and 10th music!

  • 9 and 10 had the best music...I gotta say xD

  • wow excelente

  • Does anybody think a Doctor Who Buckaroo Banzai team up would be cool?

  • Is the theme changes as well or is it one of the themes going over the different vignettes? If the first one, then that is truly a great achievement.

  • the pre-digital ones are so much better

  • @SARDONICmath Right? the new ones were lame. The earlier ones were trippy.

  • @UnstableCore The Hell you Say! Christopher Eccelston Was about as close as you could get! He really conjured Tom Baker for his part of season 1.

  • @LordBicen I was talking about INTROS man. Not the whole show itself.

  • I actually quite like Matt Smith as the doctor. him and Tennant are my favorites

  • @TheSketchBat well i dont come onto the internet to argue out of the years ive been on internet i still dont think youtube is to fight, its for constructive criticism and advice if you ever say something bad, mostly for watching videos and having fun

  • I loved all the Doctors but have to say TB and DT were my favourites.

  • i dont give a crap bout putting up your name its a stupid one

  • dont call me an idiot douchebag -_- this site is for watching videos not insulting

  • @Jackun882 Apparently, you don't know how to reply.

  • @Jackun882

Actually, the entire internet is for insulting. YouTube is absolutely no acception.

So, welcome to The Magical Land of Internetz.

  • you missed the 11th

  • @Jackun882 WELL DUH! This was made BEFORE the Eleventh Doctor was released, IDIOT.

  • Tom Baker is the only Who the best Who

  • who's still watching this in 2011

  • @jetblackties

    me :P

  • @jetblackties I'm watching this in 2074, personally the 17th doctor is my favorite. Oops, gotta go, my timebus is leaving

  • @Sirolfusable IDIOT, THERE ARE ONLY TWELVE REINCARNATIONS OF THE DOCTOR.

  • @GetOut54 Erm... Sorry to burst your bubble but there are 11.

  • @AimiSamurai Twelve, sharp. You american? In america, THEY HAVE ONLY SHOWN 11 SEASONS, genius. Dr. Who'd be dissapointed.

  • @balsphinktahr First off, I'm not American. Secondly, there is 26 seasons. Thirdly, in America everything has been shown, just the 6 hour time difference. Forthly, there are 11 Doctors, unless there is some mystery season only you have seen. And fifthly, "Dr. Who" isn't his name.

  • @GetOut54 And he's being SARCASTIC, SHARP ONE HERE HUH??

  • I used to be able to tap out the theme on my little cassio keyboard and my little sister would spin around like the Tardis.

  • Chris Eccleston and David Tennant. :) I wonder who #11 is going to be?

  • @CelesteK I dont' know, maybe Matt Smith?

  • Left off Paul McGann

  • This was a really well-made video, I am impressed. Loved seeing all the old intros! ♥ ♥

  • @DiscipleoftheBlueBox I agree. (Psst... Hi!!)

  • Colin Baker is the most underrated Doctor...

  • David Tennant is the best doctor!

  • I started with Eccleston and Tennant like most people when it came to the US. Strange though, a few of the older color openings look vaguely familiar. I was an 80s kid in America, but it feels as if I watched it before. Very odd.

  • I'm just now really getting into this series and I can't believe I slept on it so long. Absolutely incredible! And I love the respect the new writers/cast have for the classic era. Case in point, the Daleks. They could have tried to "update" the look or somehow modernize them but, they still look and sound the same which is not something you would see on American TV. Abosolutely brilliant!

  • I grew up with Christopher Eccelston and David Tennant. =D Ten 4Eva!!

Does anyone else see Darth vader's outline in Jon Pertwee's titles?

    At about 0:44 i think...

    No? Just Me?

    *returns to corner*

  • @CherryTerri The newest series sorta does this. But not like this.

  • i prefur the titles with names but thats my opinion

  • so fun

    bora eso anda

  • so fun

  • My favourite version of the theme, sent in by a fan as I recall!

  • hey, it's such a great mix, looks as if they were oart of the same sequence

  • I love how thay all sort of melt together!

  • i like the fact that this is the peter davison/late tom baker credit music, which is somehow my favorite dr who theme ever

  • Not to hate, but it is spelt McCoy...

  • in 45 is Darth Vader

  • I love how the music has stayed so similar~

  • 43 cybermans didn´t like this xD

  • the dr who theme tune is fucking badass

  • @RhythmDeamon I know,,,the shit gives me chills

  • Colm Feore would have made an excellent Dr Who.

  • Me and my sister watched this show like it was event and we needed 2 days to prepare for it...We grew up during the Tom Baker era so when I think DR WHO i think of him

  • best intro tune ever.

  • I grew up with William Hartnell up to roughly Sylvester McCoy, before I Stopped watching this show for awhile, I just recently got back into watching it after David Tennent came into the picture <3 They were all great Doctors.

  • Comment removed

  • 9 and 10 themes were the best. the first one was kind of lame

  • I grew up with Patrick Troughton, which is a bit strange since I'm only 22. But I'm in the US, and old Doctor Who episodes used to play on PBS after SNL on Saturday nights.

It bums me out that arguably the greatest Doctor, Tennant, didn't get his own logo or title sequence. He just got Eccleston's stuff.

  • i grew up with the ninth doctor

  • Ninth Doctor is the best!

  • Thumbs up if you grew up to Tom Bakers Dr Who ;-)

  • @bluenotejazz i wish i did he is the BEST DOCTOR EVER

  • What about David tennant?

  • @Vashthestampdee he is OK but Tom Baker is still one of the best doctors. But you are right David tennant is a good doctor too.

  • @bluenotejazz I didn't grow up with Tom as Doctor but I love him a lot! If I could be so rude I might say that he is my fav.. but I'd rather not since all of them are great! (I'm 18 btw^^)

  • @bluenotejazz i grew up with david tennant

  • @bluenotejazz

tom was the best doctor by far! used to watch him in the early 80's

  • @bluenotejazz wish i could have...

  • @bluenotejazz I wish I had :/

  • ACTUALLY. Three minutes and eighteen seconds. :)

    -J

  • I never really watched too much Doctor Who, but the intro kinda makes me want to. Sometimes I wonder where I should start. I hear Tom Baker is among the best and one of the most well known. I also hear the most recent on Matt Smith is also very good. But I might even start out with William Hartnell. The song always makes me feel like I'm tripping out. xD

  • @Yabuturtle If you have a good bit of time, start with the ninth doctor... (2005) and work your way up to current... That will give you some recent backstory and there are a lot of great episodes. If you don't have much time, start with last year's season (starting with Matt Smith) and you'll do fine. If you become a fan, -then- go back and find the older Doctor Who episodes and enjoy some of his past. :)

  • @Yabuturtle The first song actually was first used in Tom Baker's last season.

  • I like the first, Tom Bakers, and the 9th and 10th

  • Tom Baker and Colin rocked. Syvester was the first Dr I ever saw, I am a youngen, I had the hots for Ace

  • The new one didnt happen

  • The Doctor Who theme - no matter how it gets revamped and changed - will always be perfection.

  • @VickiSnickers well said. it's one of those rare pieces that loses nothing in the altering to reflect the doctor of the time.

  • missed one

  • Do you mean James Bond the guy who sells clocks over at the Gloucester bring and buy sale or do you mean the fictional flemming character

  • 43 silence want to erase from our memories...

I WILL NOT FORGE- What was I talking about?

  • why is billie piper listed at the end?

  • @sidthemuss probably because she was in the episode used for this.

  • Jon Pertwee, & Tom Baker, are the most memorable ones. Dr.Who rocks!!!!

  • Now this is very well done!

  • Tom Baker is the best

  • I think it is rather convenient to have a hero who can simply get killed and take a different form. Reminds the actor the he is extremely replaceable and needs to stay at the top of his game the entire time.

  • The older series sound better, it sounds creepy and misterious, like Dr. Who is.

  • 2:50 onwards looks like Brass Eye. And Richard E Grant should have been forced at gun point to play the Dr

  • Is it me or does the most recent one sound pants compare to the old ones?

  • Gutes Video

  • My favourite doctors of all time would have to be John Pertwee, Tom Baker and definitely Chris Eccleston!

  • + Matt Smith

  • need to update it with matts

  • I miss classic Dr Who(1-7) when the BBC really had the best television outside of just Top Gear...

  • dr who is coming to american airwaves...the world may never be the same

  • @newintown024 Doctor who has been on in Chicago since the series restarted. What channel are you watching it on? and where?

  • Thanks for posting-brought back great memories and put a smile on my face for the rest of the day! You did a great job on this.

  • how come the title is "Dr Who all 10 doctors in three minutes" when the film last

    3:18.

It should be Dr Who all 10 doctors in three minutes and eighteen seconds.

  • i prefer the older doctor who episodes the new ones are crap !!!

  • Este programa es lo mejor en ciencia ficcion que vi cuando niña y creo firmemente que nada sera igual jamas. gracias tom baker

  • I vote Tom Baker !!!

  • You missed one.

    fix it now!

  • I dont think the theme has 'lost anything', but its funny the original theme actually had some of the best harmony, especially in the bridge.

  • The theme tunes have lost something over time.... bring back the theramin-like instrumental...

  • you skipped mccann

  • @susandiane Yeah, I noticed that too.

  • @iSniip3ZzCw You have just insulted about an estimated 1,000,000 people on this planet, one of which is me. Doctor Who is the best programme ever produced on television. prehaps thats too much information for your pea-brain to take in.
